Help with sapphire ring

I'll post a better hand shot when I pick her up from my safety deposit box in a few weeks. I tucked her away so I wouldn't be tempted to wear her before my birthday. In the meantime, I did bring this little garnet beauty home with me from the jewelry store (14k rose gold with diamonds)

I like how these two stones are set!

The SA at the jewelry store wasn't able to find the maker's name. The maker's stamp inside the band looks like MRD.

She's home! I picked her up early because I couldn't wait until next month. A 2.15ct (7mm) sapphire (heat-treated) in an 18k white gold double halo setting with 0.58 ctw diamonds. I've wanted a sapphire ring for a few years now and I was thrilled to find this one at my local jewelry store.
