Help with setting this diamond Q/R

I’m thinking about this setting but seeing if they can do all yellow gold or yellow gold bezel and the rest white

Is that Ivy n Rose? I actually really like the examples you have, the warmer stone is the star of the show with the rubies, just beautiful. I just got an I&R setting for a blue sapphire target ring. (Stone not set yet). The ring is very well made, I'm impressed with the quality. I think they'll customize too.

Yes it is! I’m torn between having them source a whiter diamond for me or using the one I have. I need a target ring in my life!!! Love yours! Congratulations! It’s nice to hear that you’re impressed with the quality. I’ve never purchased from them before

So I’ve Decided to use my Q/R in an ivy rose target setting. I’m torn between ruby or emerald and whether to go will all yellow gold or just yellow gold bezel and the rest white. I’m also a bit concerned about the durability of emerald vs the ruby. Any thoughts? I’m very indecisive and could use some help

My birthstone is emerald, but the softness of it.. I love emerald, but...hmm... Me, I'd go with ruby or sapphire, more durable. But I'm hard on rings, not one to baby them, so you would have to decide. I think you'll be pleased with their ring for the price. I can't wait to get mine set and wear it!!

Did you chat with them on Etsy about customizing? I've found them to be very responsive. I had the best communion with Jeff though, some of the girls responses didn't really answer my questions so I had to repeat and be very clear.

I’d love to see a yellow gold milgrain bezel with the remaining setting in white gold.... as to the surrounding stones, would those be the only options or could Ivy&Rose source you something in another color? Or did you love those two options? Sorry if I missed something....

So ivy & rose said that they can’t do the setting in yellow gold. I’m super bummed. I’m trying to decide If I should just order the white gold. It might still look good. I just really wanted that yellow gold bezel to make the diamond pop. I was thinking of reaching out to David Klass, but I’m sure a setting from him would be way more than I’m looking to spend. I’ll post a picture of that Ivy Rose setting. Let me know what you guys think. I’m wondering if I should just pull the trigger and buy it. I was going to have them set the stone but if I order the setting without having my stone set, I can return it if I don’t think it will look right.

I had mine delivered unset to check it out first, but I'm sending it back to them to set and resize.
DKs prices are very reasonable and setting would probably feel more substantial, but I'm sure it would cost more than I&R.

Here it is. Not yet set. Honestly I’m kind of underwhelmed. The setting is well made but the rubies are deeper red than the picture they set me. Also, I think the q/r looks kind of weird in it. What do you guys think?

I really like it! I think it makes the QR stand out more than if they were matched. You have a little time, maybe sit on it a day or so if you aren't sure. I like it though! Such a pretty oec too!

I know its been a while, but I love it. It makes me want to find a 5mm stone and buy that setting.
