As for my pillows, we have 6, but only sleep with 2...bf has his extra special foam memory thingamabobber pillow, and I rotate between the other ''normal'' pillows. I just can''t commit to ONE pillow!

We have 6 big pillows (2 in shams, 4 in pillow cases) plus two accent pillows.

Plus 2 wooly dog butts.

Great thread! We have 6. ...although I think hubby left one at a hotel and now he has 2...We can''t really have too many b/c they all have to stay on the bed at night or it''s up for grabs by the cats! BTW, my fav pillow is so old it''s gross but I''d die without it...

Funny story, a friend left his fav pillow at a hotel and he had them send it back to him...it was so thin it fit in a fed ex bag! LOL

I''m too embarrassed to show a picture of our bed! Every single time people see our bed they remark on how huge it is! Seriously, it''s the length of a CA King, and the width of an Eastern King. In other words, it''s gigantic (which is why it doesn''t look as though we have too many pillows).

BTW, does anyone remember how Ben Stiller in "Along Came Polly" was super anal about his pillows until one day he goes after them with a butcher knife? Well, my SO threatens to do that whenever he gets stuck making the bed!

I have four pillows, two which arre for sleeping. One is for my neck and I have to have it becuase of my neck and back problems, the other is just there beucase it would look weird to have one pillow I think. My other two are shams and match the duvet. I always feel like I have too many...but I am feeling much better about that now.

Researcher, don''t be embarrassed! We have a huge bed, too! It''s a California King 4-poster. My husband is 6''4" and I''m 5''7" and with the 5 cats we need the room. 12 or 13 pillows on our bed just doesn''t look like much.

Nan, where do you get these cool threads from ?

No pillow here - I don't use any by night and by day a colorful cover (something local - a large hand woven piece, kilim style) that kind of makes pillows redundant IMO. Besides, if I can't make the bed in less than 1 min. that means redecoration is in order.
