I really hope I don''t deter anyone from participating by veering off on a tangent. (Get back to the discussion, please!) I just had to share this shot of Portia. She looks as if she is as flexible as a ballerina. Why doesn''t that position stretch her abdominal muscles? She looks so content but she''s being stretched as if she were on the rack!

I agree with your comment about Portia''s black paw pads, soooo cute!

I personally like the gold lady in Wink''s ads, but my eye was definitely drawn to that big ole diamond!

When I first saw Wink''s ad I thought he was going for the Intergalactic market. What with the big Star Wars opening and the almost alien looking gold model I figured he''d have a nice UFO drop in trade....though they probably can communicate via the internet....

Portia lays flat out like that on the ground ... we call it 'bear rug' since she looks like a white bear rug when she flattens out...anyway if you touch her exposed paw pads, it's one of her pet peeves, so she twitches them up and hides them under her...then slowly sneaks them back out when you move away. It's hilarious.

I think Elmo and Portia would make a fab diamond modeling team!
