Hilaria Baldwin. (Alec’s wife). Have you been following this?

Not a clear picture. Her blue eye looks dark here (on the right). They really stand out in real life.

She would think it’s crazy. I’ll send her the link.

In primary school we were doing a eye colour family tree. My teacher told me I was a liar when I did the leaf two colours. I was so upset. She soon apologised when Mum stomped in to see her. When she is angry they seem to stand out more!

Wow, I can definitely see the difference in the picture despite the lighting!
How beautifully rare ❤️

& I understand how the color gets more prominent when she's angry as my hazel eyes turn more green when I cry.
Eyes are weird!

When heterochromia happens naturally it is one of the most interesting birth defects. It makes sense why one would wish they had it, just most have enough sense not to lie about it!

Hi, @Garnetgirl, I also, have hazel eyes (which I call green on forms). They are forest green but with a little gold in the center. If I cry, they become emerald green afterwards. My best friend (the woman with one light brown and one dark brown eye) is the only person besides me to have noticed this. I never knew anyone else to whom it happened! I am glad you mentioned it.

It happens to me too. I have green eyes (grass green) and if I get angry or I cry, I have been told they turn a bright almost glowing green. Weird, I thought it was just me.

I wonder if this is a green eyed thing? Everyone else in my family including my kids have brown eyes so I must have inherited my green eyes from a recessive gene on both my parents sides.

I always thought this was why David Bowie was like this
but ...when i looked it up its because he got in a fight when young, over a girl

Glad your mom came to your defence with the school

:mrgreen2:
When my sister used to wind me up she said my eyes go green and piercing
Definatly get a deeper green when crying
would be a pretty colour eccept for the puffiness

I have green eyes too...the kind where you mix blue and yellow and get green. I think they look more green after you cry because the whites
of your eyes turn red and you get the green against the red which makes the green very prominent. (I hope that made sense.)

My eyes are hazel on the green side. They do the same thing.

Sometimes my usual mid- dark green eyes look almost blue green
My mum, dad and myself all had green eyes (well mum had hazel but they went more green as she got older)
My sister has blue eyes
grandad had grey blue eyes

Gary also has green eyes
ive read its the most uncommon eye colour but i guess its just genetics and the part of the world one's ancestors came from

My eyes are green, as are all of my family (except my mum!!)’
We all get greener eyes when we drink (probably when we cry....!?)
My daughter has beautiful brown eyes like her dad.
