Hi all,

I haven't been on the Bride forum for very long so I'm not sure if people will be that interested in this...but we got married 2 weeks ago and are just THRILLED!

Some details:

Place: Scaligeri Castle, Malcesine, Lake Garda, Italy
Time: 5pm
Guests: None! Just us, the town registrar (who married us), our interpreter and two witnesses
My outfit: Dress, BCBG Max Azria (last minute change - had a Lisa Ho already but found this 2 weeks before the wedding and it was The One!). Shoes - Gina London (heels), Zara Ltd Edition (flats). Bag - random shop in Milan. Jewellery - random shops in Melbourne and Singapore.
Mr Pancake's outfit: Kenzo suit, shirt and tie. Shoes from somewhere in Barcelona (can you tell we've been scavenging as we travel?!)
Flowers: pale creamy and peachy roses, white mini calla lillies
Wedding rings: Mine - plain 2.5mm low-domed half-round platinum; his - 7mm unplated white gold heavy comfort fit, matte with polished rails. Both from Holloway.

Married! I swear this wasn''t posed - it was taken by our interpreter when we weren''t looking and it was a lovely surprise to find it when we looked through our camera afterwards

This is the last one for now...this very accurately sums up our mood afterwards - elated! (plus I grinned like a goon through the whole thing, so no doubt the pro photos will highlight my dorky happiness!)

Hi, pancake!

This place is 20 mins from where I used to vacation every summer as a girl and an hour from where I''ll get married this September. In fact, I was there two weeks ago, right around the same time! It''s such a stunning wedding location. And I love your dress -- I have seen it in the BCBG store and absolutely adore it. It''s a stunning gown. Love the shoes as well. You have excellent taste.
