JELLY you know it girl. i am all over those K stones as well....when we were there last time i waxed poetic about the charm of K stones and how the public would just love them etc etc (aka read the public as MARA) and then eventually a few showed up and sold so hopefully that was positive. so maybe by doing the same thing this time around we''ll get lucky, huh gal?? well actually you already got lucky with your fabulous K!! hehehee. i am thinking about a pendant maybe at end of this year, a larger solitaire so i''d love to have a well-cut K stone for sure as it would be more cost-effective. we''ll see!!

Funny thing. Just yesterday, Sam took my hand and was looking at my ring carefully. I asked him, "yes honey?" And he asks me, "your diamond looks a little small, don''t you think?"so I asked him, "why, do you think so?"

He tells me, "ya, I don''t know if I''m getting used to it or what, but it seems to look a lot smaller than it did half a year ago." I told him about diamond shrinkage syndrome and how he''s been hit with it. LOL. I told him 2ct+ is a good size. He definitely agreed....hee, we''ll see....I have to wait until at least AFTER the wedding. Just 4+ more months!

I wonder if he''s the first guy to ever see the diamond shrinking first? LOL

Hrm...lorelei. I don''t know what my secret is. What I''ve been doing for the past six months is always flash him my ring and make him look at it when we go places. i.e. if we were in a restaurant or at the mall or at Costco (absolutely love the lighting there, even when my ring is dirty, it looks fabulous!), i would rock my hand back and forth and tell him, "bebe, look at my ring, doesn''t it look beautiful?" and he''ll look everytime and say, "bebe, i know it is, but ya it does look really good here".

And then yesterday in the car at a red light, he took my hand (he was driving, i was in passenger seat) and rocked it back and forth and then asked me that question. Came out of nowhere. I had to take a few seconds to gather my thoughts because his question shocked the hell out of me.

I guess DSS happens to everyone, just happens to us more because we are the ones wearing it and looking at it everyday. But I make Sam look at my ring every, well at least every other day. So it hit him too. Hrm, I guess I know what my secret is now......hehehe. Ladies make you men look at your ring everyday and soon, it''ll start shrinking for them!

Thanks for your compliments on my set!! I really do love it and it is very sturdy and durable but gives you that extra bling factor with not alot of worry re: banging it around.

I don''t know how much help I can be to you on the cost for the set *today*, because the prices have since gone up for both the diamonds in the ring and platinum. I think platinum just rose even further in the last day or two. The center diamond costs from a few years ago also isn''t really very relevant in today''s world either as diamond costs have risen so much in the last few years, but if you want to know how much a particular diamond would cost, try typing in the info you want for a stone in the search engine up top. That will give you a great idea of costs.

I would like to know where I can get a stone just like it. In fact I don''t know if you got the stone at the same place you got your entire set but I would love to try to get it from the same place if possible. The stone looks huge but yet very delicate.....it''s a perfect set!
