Holiday to the US, can you help me?

We just booked a vacation to the Dominican Republic for cheap money. We''ve been there before- can''t beat it for fun and sun. Also, isn''t April spring break time in Florida? I''m so beyond college years I forget. You would want to stay away during that time due to crowds.

That is a great point, this is Spring Break time for many universities...so FL would probably be a bad choice so would the Outer Banks and any other college spot.
As for DC I only lived there for 14 months but April was nice enough. I would definitely check the weather and what else is going on.
