Patty, your daughters are more beautiful than the diamond.

Thank you Stephan. I think so too.

And truthfully, I would not want a 15 carat diamond. I mean, I''m a preschool teacher in the midwest. Where am I gonna wear a 15 carat diamond? I would hate the attention it would bring too. We have a picture of my hubby and me the night we got engaged that my mom took. My hand is under the table b/c I didn''t want to show off the ring. And I wanted as small a wedding as possible b/c I didn''t want a lot of people looking at me. So while I love my rings, I do have my limits.

But it''s fun to be thought of as ruthless and cold hearted sometimes!

And canuk-gal...go for it baby!

HI:

Don''t you hve to be ruthless and cold hearted to be a preschool teacher Patty?

Just kidding of course. And I concur with Stephan.
Sadly, I do not own the word anything and therefore I believe this diamond is out of my grasp. I''ll cry until I stop.

cheers--Sharon

Now that I''ve picked myself up off the floor (love that limmerick!), I''d like to ask Garry what that stone''s measurements are, diameter, depth, etc.?

Yeah, Garry, what are the specs??????

Even the diamond lovin me has to concur. They are raven haired beauties. Dad needs to skin the first suitor to the outside wall.....just as a reminder.

And, are we going to know how much this diamond baby costs? What will it be set in. I say 1.8 million.

Patty - is that a bit of bling I spy on your daughter''s hand?
31.gif
I suspect your beautiful girls have inherited Mom''s good taste in jewelry!

Garry - if I invited you to my wedding, would you bring me a 15ct diamond as a wedding gift? Never mind the fact that the wedding is in a different hemisphere than you!

fire&ice, thank you for your kind words. As for skinning the first suitor, well, that was YEARS ago, so it''s a bit late for that, lol.

JCJD, I think that''s a pearl ring my daughter got from her beau that you can barely see in the picture. They do not like jewelry the way I do, but then not many people do! Our youger daugther''s close friend is the daughter of our jeweler John. So that daughter has had John design things for her already. She said whenever she gets engaged, she''ll just tell the boy to go see John!

Patty - Your Daughters Have lovely smiles! It's clear that you do spoil them.

How old are they?

Garry - WE'RE DYING FOR MORE PICTURES OF THIS 15 C D IF H&As!
And more info as well - STOP HOLDING OUT ON US!!!!!!! PRETTY PLEASE with diamonds on top.

Thank you MD! They are 24 and 20.

I am feeling guilty about hijacking Gary''s thread here, even though I am ruthless and cold hearted.

So Garry, when are we going to find out the price tag on that gorgeous rock??

funny about diamonds and liking jewelry...I never used to like jewelry or diamonds really until I met Greg...go figure!

his biggest mistake ever was asking me one day if I would ''wear a pair of diamond earrings'' if he bought them for me. WILL I?!

I can not tell you a price because the stone has not been to a lab yet. But these guys grade 4 to 6 diamonds a day for VVS1 / IF / F clarity grades using the HRD approach which is rather rigorous, but highly repeatable.

They have given it Flawless.

But a stone this size and value was sure to be graded by more than 1 or them.

The things we do for love?

Is our 15ct. "beauty" ideal, superideal, H%A, all of the above, or a surprising new combination of #''s????
Since their is no definition I can not say.
The company does not have a ''brand name'' but I am sure many branded diamonds originate there.
But the H&A''s (I checked myself) and proportions and ideal-scope etc - all those ducks line up.

This stone has been certified AGS 0,0,000 and would definitely qualify as a candidate for thenew AGS 0 too.

Thanks
