I was just wondering howeveryone here choose their name and thier picture?

Funny, hubby asked that very question about my avatar. My avatar was picked from the PS menu. Hubby thought it odd because it does resemble me a bit.

As far as the name Fire&Ice - that''s probably pretty self explanatory.

Believe it or not - I don''t think we have had a thread on this. About a year ago, one morphed into this - but nothing direct.

My username combines the football team''s fight song from my two alma maters: U Michigan (Go Blue!) and U Georgia (Gooooooo Dawgs!). Tinkerbell has been my favorite character since I was a kid.

I picked my name because I love Bob Marley and one of my favorite songs by him is "One Drop."

Current avatar features an artist that I also love: Jonathan Green. He is from S. Carolina originally (gullah country) and his subjects usually center around what is called the Low Country in the state. As much of my family lives in S. Carolina and I have spent what feels like hearly half my life there, I love Jonathan''s work.

I changed my user name to my old standby name, PunchNPie75, which I've used in emails and message boards before. PunchNPie coming from the South Park movie, when the kids are planning their secret meeting about the war and Cartman says to tell the invitees there will be punch and pie because 'more people will come if they think there will be punch and pie!' My best friend and I quoted that for years and she even gave me a bottle of Hawaiian punch and a hostess cherry pie for my graduation from optometry school.

75 is the year of my birth.

I picked Kaleigh because I liked the name. I'm kind of on a K/C kick as I have two dogs, Casper, Callie, and a bird named Khaki. My children's names are Ashley and Robbie, didn't go that route when naming them!!

I took that name because my married name is Logan, and I like to tease my husband that the Logan Sapphire is *my* sapphire on loan to the museum

I also like to tease him that one day they''ll also have a new Logan Diamond (in my honor)

my name's actually my middle name (which everyone except my fam calls me) alex + my first name's initial (a) + my last initial (h). i often use it as a username on websites cuz it's shorter than first initial, last name.

I love cartoons so when I signed up I decided to use a character''s name. A lot of the cartoons that I like have mostly guy characters (Scooby Doo, Batman, etc., etc.). I definitely wanted to pick a girl character so that people would know that I was a girl right away (since this is a forum and no one actually knows). My boyfriend helped me brainstorm. He knows that I love the cartoon "Mucha Lucha", so he actually picked out "Buena Girl" for my name. She is one of the main characters on Mucha Lucha. My avatar is a picture of her. Her catch phrase on the cartoon show is "It''s all buena!", so I included it in my signature. I laugh about it sometimes because a lot of people seem to have put quotes in their signatures that they identify with (and have probably said in real life) and it probably looks like I was trying to say "It''s all good!". I don''t think that I have ever used that phrase in my life!!!

And I have never said "It''s all buena" to anyone either.
