Well, yes, that''s helpful as well. It depends on how much sweat and how much smell and in what environment. I was in Home Depot, and since I know they don''t keep the temp at an ideal 72 and those folks do have to do some physical work, I didn''t mind when the girl who helped me had BO. HOWEVER, I went to a school picnic last spring and one of the dads had THE worst BO I have ever had the misfortune to smell. My eyes watered and we struggled to find a spot that was up wind of him, which was hard because the wind direction kept changing. Gee buddy, you''re coming to your son''s school. You might want to BATHE at least a few days beforehand.... Seriously, I don''t think he had.

I don''t think we hit the triple digits today, but heat index is over 100. Seems like it''s been like this for weeks. We haven''t hit the 70''s at night for the low for a while. And we''ve always got the humidity.

82 degrees here. We're having the hottest day of the heatwave today. Yeah, those earthquakes every 20 years or so make this place nearly uninhabitable.

(In all seriousness, each of you enduring that big heat wave back east right now have my sympathies. I remember having to wear conservative suits and hose during the summer in the sunken swamp area that they call Washington DC, and at a certain point the combination of heat/humidity was so severe that it didn't matter if it got hotter any because my body was no longer able to register heat differences. My dry cleaning bills approached my monthly rent. Not fun. Stay cool, and drink plenty of water with orange slices in it!)

I can''t complain, it''s mid-60s here right now

, but it was 100+ yesterday.

Last week when I was in DC, it was 93 with 70% humidity. AWFUL. I couldn''t stop sweating, even when I went inside. It would be super air-conditioned and cold, but I would just sweat. I don''t know how people do it all summer.
