How tall are your rings.

Hello,

I''m working a design and was curious as to how tall your ring is. Mainly the engagement ring or any ring with a diamond on it. The design I am doing needs a low setting. How low is yours, or how tall? I''ve gotten one from WTNLVR being 9-10mm.

What measurement am I talking about? Take a ruler and measure from your finger to the top of the table on the highest diamond. See picture below.

mine is 10mm off my finger. I wouldn''t really consider it to be extremely high, but it''s a comfortable height.

Mine is 7mm high and that is pretty low I believe. Low enough so that I never whack it, but high enough so it gets noticed!

My wedding ring is about 9mms from the bottom of the ring to the top.

This stuller solstice with a 2 carat CZ sits 8mms off the finger.

mine is 6mm--I wanted a low-set ring that wouldn''t get caught on things, and I am very happy with the height of it.

Just for fun I measured all of my rings- 16 in all- and found that most were 8mm high. The 3 stone rings were the lowest at 6mm. The highest is my avatar ring at 10mm.

Here is mine.... she stands 6.25mm tall. Not very tall at all. I prefer it on the slower side only b/c i like putting my hands in my pockets. If it''s too tall the height gets in the way. (just a personal preference)

The table of my tallest ring sits about 1/4 inch above my finger. (It''s a 1.75 carat solitaire oval with 4 prongs set in platinum.)
