But I''m going absolutely bonkers!!! Ever since I saw the email from WF that I wasn''t suppose to see saying the ring would be ready to ship on April 1st I have lost my mind lol. Of course FF says he controls the shipment date and so I can''t rely on that date blah blah whatever! It still means the ring is most likely ready! Couple that with him hiding things from me on his computer before I''m allowed to use it and him saying he''s been "taking are of business" UGH!! Going totally loopy!!

Aww you ladies are so sweet, thanks for the encouraging words. However, I just saw the pics of the final product and I''m not happy so it''s going to be a while. I pretty much think the setting will have to be completely remade.

Well there were a few design issues which I was trying to avoid which ended up in the final product. I''m sure WF will do everything in their power to correct them, it just means I have to wait longer. *sigh* What''s a few more weeks right? *pout*
 
OH no, that stinks. Hopefully these next few weeks will fly by so you can get your ring!
 
Aww that really stinks but at least you know that you will end up with an absolutely perfect ring in the end. It will be well worth the wait!!!

You''re right. I''m really trying to look on the bright side but I have to admit I''m a bit over emotional about it. I think it''s because I was stressed about this paper that''s due today and I''m stuck at work all day so I won''t be able to focus on it until this evening and here I heard about the ring pic and thought it was going to be a huge pick me up but instead it was a complete downer. I damn near wanna cry! Once I turn this paper in I think I''ll be slightly more sane. One great thing however, I picked a J colored stone and it looks nice and white so I don''t have to fret about that anymore. See, there is a silver lining!

Talked with Leon at WF and they're going to make changes to the current setting. I'm not sure how they can make the changes and get what I want, but they're the experts. I have to say I'm very, very upset. I made myself extremely clear about certain things I did not want and every last one of the things I didn't want are in the ring!! I absolutely hate the profile of the ring (seriously, if I wanted that profile I would have bought a stock ring for about $1500 less). They'll be sending me new pics on Monday and I'll keep everyone up to date. They've always managed to come through for everyone else so I'm just going to have to keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks Kaleigh! It is frustrating but I''m going to try to keep my hopes up high. The stupid paper is done and I''m drinking a beer. All is well in the world.

I can''t wait to see my handshots either!! I was putting my hand up to the pics of the ring they made, trying to imagine. It was so frustrating! So close but so far away.

Latest update: They have decided to start the entire process over. Thank goodness. I didn''t see how it would work any other way. Now, I just need to stay sane and keep my fingers and toes crossed.

I received the CAD and they look a million times better than the last one we approved. This time I stuck to my guns about what I preceived to be too much metal (I know the CAD can look bulkier but it shouldn''t look THAT bulky), and I really think they got it right this time. I AM DYING FOR THE FINISHED PRODUCT. You hear me? DYING!! It''s really eating away at me at this point, especially since the wedding date is a little over 6 months away. We have a lot to accomplish between now and then and our families/friends can''t help; they don''t know because we haven''t gotten officially engaged!!

Wedding day 6 months away? Big/small/mid/ wedding?
(Hubsly and I went to the courthouse 6 months ago--we may do a wedding someday, though) Even the courthouse wedding took some preparation! I''m partial to the small intimate kind of wedding.

I''m partial to small weddings as well. As of now (and I suppose this decision can''t be considered final until FF completely agrees lol), I''m thinking of an elopement package with a venue a couple blocks from our apartment. The place is gorgeous (I catered there once). You can have up to 10 guests, and it includes the ceremony, flowers, and a professional photographer. I figured we could have a few people and go straight to dinner afterwards. Then the following weekend, throw a party for everyone else. That way I don''t have to be a huge center of attention while I''m actually getting married (freaks me out! I don''t even celebrate my birthday with more than 3 people lol). I''m a nervous wreck about everything at this point.

Haha, thanks gwendolyn! So, I just noticed that the ring I rejected was posted on the WF gallery on this site. I have to say, it upsets me a lot. One element, though not completely original, I have never seen on this site. It's suppose to represent something special to me and my FF and it appears first on this board, NOT as my engagement ring, but as a reject ring. It was labeled as an alternate version of the WF bezel. Which is rather ironic considering that's what I didn't want it to look like (hence why I rejected it).
