I HAVE A JOB!!!!

I still have to do the official paperwork but I got the call (last night) and I will be starting the Monday after graduation. Which means I will have to drive all day Sunday but no worries there! I am soo excited!!!! I will be doing biological research in a real lab!


I spoke to my parents and I am going to stay with them and plan the wedding at first, everything is working out and I am just so happy right now! Yippee! Now all I have to do is graduate.


FYIGMO ratio: is about 200 right now! WOOT!

Scared to my toes is more like it…this is my first real job. The kind where I get paid and there are no children involved. I hope that I am able to do everything and learn all that I will need to know.

Miss Deb- I am more concerned about whether or not I am good enough for the job. But I am really interested in the type of research being done, and my beliefs match up with the businesses so that is nice.

I''m sure you''ll do fine Matatora! Glad to see we''re nervous for the EXACT same reasons (besides the working with kids part. I don''t know how you do it)! Every job I had before was only 20 hours or so. At one point I was holding multiple jobs to get by, but now.... 8 to 4 every day, 5 days a week....

I had a tour of the building (which is BEAUTIFUL by the way) and the only downside I saw so far: My desk/workspace will be right next to the evidence vault and I''ll have to smell stale marijuana all day long... Yuck...

So what exactly will you be researching?? As a fellow scientist, I''m SOOOOOOOOO curious!
