I have no self control

MTG have you ever seen bypass rings or "moi et toi" rings? They have two stones and the ring sort of twines around, I think they are so cool! Tiffany and Cartier made this style ring over the years. Here are a few examples... I think it would be a cool project for your two stones!

Oooo, dreamer I love the modern one!! But I think that would work best with 2 stones closer in size?

Then again, I Have been eyeing a 5mm OEC....and just need an excuse to buy it.
And it would save me the trouble of having to find a matching diamond...

That is a stone worth snatching up, it is a beauty, and that is my favorite cut from Berry.

I have no self control either. I am just refusing to look at stones to deal with it.
 
Ooh I really like that bypass w/ the pink and green stones! definitely worth getting the 5mm OEC :sun:
 
I love the bypass idea using the OEC as the other stone. That tsavorite deserves something special as a setting.

It’s going to look super with OEC sides and that OEC (or is it a transitional) looks awesome. Can’t wait to see your pictures of the new tsavorite.
 
Oh no guys, I need some dust!!

The tsav was supposed to arrive yesterday, and the tracking site said it was delivered....but no package in my box and no slip. EEEEK!
My fingers are crossed that they just marked it as delivered and it wasn't, and it will show up tomorrow.
Or maybe one of my neighbors will knock on my door and say it was misdelivered .

Either way, if you have any dust to spare, I could use some luck!
 
Oh no - you've got to be kidding! That's exactly what happened with one of my stones from Barry! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get it, but I'd call the post office first thing Monday. My carrier was at fault for neglecting to get the required signature, so hopefully you'll have a better outcome.
 
Thanks, I'm REALLY hoping I'll see it in my box tomorrow. I'll be heartbroken if something happened to it :(

Dusty dust! I bet it will show up tomorrow. Odd that it's marked as delivered though...

ETA: I recognize the vendor for that OEC; please try a Toolhaus search for them. I did and there were many negative reviews, but if you have experience with them then you'd know better than I do.

Oh no! I hope the PO will have good news for you today. I think you’d better contact the PO ASAP to clear this up.

This has happened to me twice, and both times the stone turned up in our box the following Monday. My DH was told at the PO, when he went to track the missing parcel down the first time, that sometimes the carrier will mark something as delivered because it has to be accounted for, but the carrier either runs out of time, or doesn't bother. :eek: :rolleyes:

I hope this is what happened to you, and that the tsavorite is sitting in your box on Monday.
 
I like the round version of "moi et toi". The tsavorite should look stunning in it!

I called, but the supervisor is out for the day, will call back in the morning bright and early!!
 
Ugh, I don't like how this is going. Did you let Barry know? Still hoping it will arrive, but if it wasn't delivered today, then where the heck is it?? Did the post office even check to see if your package was at the facility? They should be able to do that, regardless of the supervisor's absence.

YAAAAYYYY It's here. And it's PERFECT. :) It's just a hair lighter in color than my other tsavorite, and a touch more bluish. I wouldn't want it any darker, so a bezel is out...hmm...

It's too dark for photos, but I'll take a whole bunch tomorrow!

Sounds perfect – a nice medium dark with a touch of blue. Can’t wait to see it too.
