I am going to be very brief here.. I am newly diagnosed, and trying to come to terms. I was reading emails from the support group yesterday. I get an email once someone replies to the website, as if you subscribed to a thread on PS....


So yesterday, I was reading and reading.. I read stuff I wasn't able to handle.. Like seriously this is going to happen to me??

I was at the lowest I have ever been. I have decided not to read them all at once...

I don't even google the disorder as it's very rare and not a lot of info..

I have a great Doc.

I knew what I had when I went in. As I had done a ton of research... I made him write it down.. I needed confirmation.

Had a great weekend with the kids, and went to a party Sat night with all my HS buddies.

I have had too many losses lately.

And again tomorrow another funeral.

Why does everything happen in 3's??

Anyway,
Enough of me, Deb knows my offer is real.

I am just waiting to know where to send it.

I hope you all will sign the card..

So will start a new thread once she hits the 10K.

I know you said, "No responses", Lisa, but I had to say something. First, you have a really big heart and yes, I know the offer

is real. Second, I am a little frightened to put my address up here on the website. I think it is against the rules. It is also possible

that people I do not know will send me mail if they see it. They might even want to visit me (although I keep my jewelry at the bank).

I hope we can find some way around this problem because the idea of getting your gift is really nifty. It has kept growing on me, in

(say nothing Uppy) But you know why I come back? Because when all is said and done, so many of you PS'ers are such wonderful people that if I lived 10 lifetimes I would never be lucky enough to meet such a great bunch of people. Some of you are PITA's too - just to give you guys a shout out too.


So for no reason in particular, I say thank you for letting me into your lives; I am the richer for it. Lets keep on together for as long as we can.

Given the culture of PS and the tradition of the $1k gift, it'd be nice to have something small--rockwalk calendar, pin, or even a smaller gift like a $100 gift certificate, or 10% off of a purchase (with a dollar amount limit on the discount)...honestly, a vendor would probably make a pretty penny off of me if they offered me a $100 gift certificate or 10% discount for hitting 10,000 posts. I am on diamond buying hiatus right now, but that would be just enough to entice me to purchase

But...since the gift is offically gone and I pretty much just post on FHH now, c'est la vie
