Awwww, HAPPY 1 YEAR CFLUTIST!!!

When I found PS I lurked for quite awhile and took hours each day reading all the archived posts....came across cflutist''s gorgeous pear avatar and pictures and almost crapped my pants...it became my computer wallpaper, and I would gaze at it all day. Then when I joined PS cflutist gave me such a warm welcome, asking about my own pear stone and giving advice during the remaking of the ring...she is truly awesome and a wonderful lady!

I can hardly believe it''s only 1 year.

First, a warm thank you to Kaleigh for starting this (slightly embarassing) thread.

Boy, you guys sure make it difficult to adhere to my self-imposed Pricescope "diet".

We were without internet access from 7/3 till 7/15 (our DSL line went out and
SBC had to rebuild a port, then our router died) Also during that time, we went on two
different camping trips.

At first, I was really going through Internet and Pricescope
withdrawal. Then I started thinking about how much time I was spending here,
how I was not practicing my flute, how I wasn't listening to my stereo,
and how I was NOT exercising for an hour each night like I use to
(and thus have gained back 16 of the 26 pounds I worked so hard to lose).
I also thought about how much time I was on Pricescope at work when I should have really been
working.

So orginally, as an incentive, I told myself that I wouldn't get back on PS until
I got back to my pre-cruise weight. Websailor thought that might be too
restrictive since I may be gone for a least a year. LOL

So I told myself, I'd cut back so I could start enjoying other things in my life again.

Then Kaleigh has to start this thread which resulted in several emails wondering where I was.

Thank you so much for your kind words everyone. This made me realize that I really do
have some very nice and thoughtful friends on PS. So you'll still see me around, but not as
much as before.

p.s. and yes I know about the daily workout thread

p.p.s. Websailor blocked the Pricescope IP address after 8pm as a joke when he set up the new ADSL router. Boy that was a shock to me, and I yelled at him for doing that. He just laughed and then unblocked it.
