I just discovered hulu.com and I am loving it!
Oh yes .. our cable was down last month for a few days, and I was watching all type of stuff (like RHONY), on hulu. The internet is amazing, lol!
Amen to that sista!!

GemGirl --

Your furbabies sound so sweet.

I''m glad you are okay and back home with them. I''m sure they are helping your recovery -- nothing heals as well as animal kisses & cuddles

Thank you so much TP. I *am* starting to feel like my old self again!

As far as my furbabies go, my husband thinks that they think I gave birth to them.

I ordered a bunch of shoes on friday and the UPS shipment says the package weighs 15+ lbs

If you ordered that many pair, I hope you had a consult with Freke first!

How many pairs did you order? And is it ''how many pair?'' or ''how many pairs?'' Hmmm....

:P I ordered 8 pairs, including a pair for my mom and 1 pair for my wedding.
6pm.com (owned by zappos?? I think??) was having a big sale... I saved over $424 with this sale (original price)
Sadly, for some reason my feet swelled up like BALLOONS yesterday and they are still a bit puffy. I think I have to stick to flip flops until the puffiness goes down
5.gif

What''s crazy is that some of the shoes on 6pm were like 50% less than what zappos had their sale price at! Crazy!

I think 6pm.com is a well kept secret! I''ve gotten some great deals from them. You have to get lucky though because they rarely have more than a few sizes in one color of a style. I guess it''s whatever they get on close-out, but it''s worked for me a few times. I think Zappos is pretty expensive. No great deals there.

Summer heat and humidity= puffy ankles and feet, but it usually goes away.

Saw a few people diggin for gold today on the way to work. Few things I wanted to point out, just in case they weren''t obvious.

1) at 8am in a city of 4 million people- pretty sure you can''t get away with much while sitting in rush hour traffic. I.E. chances are someone is going to see you doing stuff in your car. Esp. when it has to do with your face. YOUR FACE.
2) dark tint doesn''t make you invisible or a ganster
3) at least use a napkin if you gotta dig, make it look like you tried.
4) Do not, I REPEAT DO NOT proceed to EAT ''said'' gold you have been diggin for. <---gasp!

Yes, people, GASP- you should!

You know those moments when you realize you are not nearly as clever as you thought you were? I had one of those today.

I am in Chicago. I need to be in Baltimore tonight for a meeting tomorrow. When I book travel, any ticket over $500 requires approval. It was $800 to go Atlanta, Chicago, Baltimore, Atlanta and getting to Baltimore required a connection no matter how you slice or dice it. So I got clever. I booked round trip ATL to Chicago and another round trip ATL to Baltimore. I have an hour "layover" in ATL. It just hit me today that this means I cannot check a bag when I leave Chicago. I don''t have enough time to go to baggage claim, get my bag, recheck it and make the flight. I am NOT nearly as clever as I thought I was. I only had two things over 3 oz and they were nearly empty, so I ditched them. But still!

Don''t you love those moments? You are like ''Hellz yeah, I got this''. Then you will be in bed later or doing something totally non related...and BOOM- like a MAC Truck. LOL, I have a lot of those moments. I feel your pain, April.

In regard to the booger eaters out there, EW(x452944 W''s) is correct. I dry heaved for the better part of my commute.

So... boogar eating isn''t ok?? lol just kidding. I did have class with a guy in college who used to pick his scabs and eat them. I think he ended up dropping out of school anyways....

thats gross!

I admit there were many days that I was distracted watching him go all out....

Another day we were all doing a critique as a class and he just sat in the corner taking apart his transformer thingy (you know the toys).. the teacher asked him to stop and he freaked out.. screaming about how he was going on vacation and needed to get "name of transformer" apart for transportation.

The one time I actually remember him participating in a critique- he got feedback and wouldn''t listen to anyone. He ripped his paper down from the board and pouted.

But yes, the scab picking was too funny.

kama, how sweet of your husband!

I just got video of a diamond I have on hold and I. am. giddy. I had to tell someone, and only you all will understand.

The booger eating reminded me....

A couple days ago, JT was sitting with DH. I heard DH say "get your finger out of your nose!" and then the reply, "but I love to pick it!"

lol boys are so gross.

I want BGD huggies...

I ate dinner at Maggiano''s with a girlfriend last night. I ate a lot of my pasta. It was delicious.
However, the portion size was INSANE. I just weighed my leftovers on our kitchen scale:
2.25 lbs!

Yikes. I wonder what it weighed before I tucked into it last night!

We just got the call that they have a possible kidney for DH''s father! He''s been waiting for a transplant for over four years. Crossing my fingers that he gets it!!!!

Hope this works out Haven.

Haven~ I really hope it''s a good match and that he can undergo the transplant very soon!!

Thank you, lyra and somethingshiny.

The hospital just told us that they rejected both of the man''s kidneys.

I know we shouldn''t get excited when we get these calls, but it''s hard not to.

At least he''s still up there at the top of the list. It''s hard to say "Here''s hoping another potential kidney comes along!" because that means something bad for someone else. To health, I''ll say.

Totally posting to just see if I can in the new forum....

Ah, me too. I knew the change was coming, but still said "whoa" outloud when I saw the new PS.

Is it just me, or do our avatar pics look fuzzier now?

This must be the new PS 2nd edition. It works great. :D

You may need to upload a higher resolution photo for the new forum. But the good part is that the forum accepts photos better so resizing it MUCH easier on the new PS.

Hi Ella, What's going on with the times of all the new posts? Did PS change time zones? Thanks!

Oooh the new Pricescope! How exciting!! I like

I love how the new signature space is different from the rest of the post. I used to get annoyed reading signatures as part of the post!
Oooh and I like seeing who is online and who is offline.
Oh oh and I like the option to delete something you just posted!!

Can ye tell I'm bored at work :rodent:

I'm just playing around to see how picture uploading works.

ETA alriiight! Multiple pics, and so much easier, no fiddling around with mad names and I can edit after posting! I am excited about new PS
