Trust me. I''ve had double ear infections before and it sucks. I don''t want to have it happen again.

LSAT scores are in the process of coming out. Sadly, the intensity with which I am refreshing the screen doesn't make the score come any faster. Doubly sad is that I won't accept the fact and keep refreshing anyway.

Magically I am much better this morning. I slept a LOT this weekend... perhaps that helped. Saturday I couldn''t hear out of the ear... and I ended up with a small nose bleed in the same nostril. Yesterday it was like MAGIC I could hear! was a bit congested both nothing else. Today... nothing! How strange....

Visited Austin for the first time this last weekend. Pretty neat town, although it can''t supplant KC in my affections.

It was stupidly hot. Although it''s stupidly hot here too, so I think I just noticed more because I was forced to be out in it more. At home I just stay..home.

We didn''t get to do too much more than get our bearings this trip. Stayed at the Westin at The Domain, a pseudo-reclaimed-industrial look upscale shopping/condo area. Hotel was great, with a truly excellent hotel restaurant (unusual in my experience). But The Domain itself was epic fail. All outdoor access - and just a biiiit too far to comfortably walk in the weather, and all cookie-cutter corporate stores, a Needless Markup, a Louis Vuitton, a...you get the drift. Bland. We spent a bunch of time looking for the genuine artsy stores, with only some luck. Found one terrifically cool antique jewelry store. It had a bunch of stuff from the 1830''s - one set in its original case - some cool Etruscan Revival stuff, and even had some Victorian hair jewelry. You don''t see that very often.

Also got to see an old friend who lives there, and my husband got to go sail with him. Overall a good trip, and we will certainly go back. But NOT in June. If I want heat and humidity, I can stay right where I''m at. I''m thinking January would be great.

I work in a call center. You know the lovely non-intrusive prision cubicals. And why on earth a grown man that sits diagonally behind me decides to stip down to his boxers at midday to change into his ''play clothes'' instead of going to the bathroom which is literally less than 45 seconds away from him...is BEYOND ME!

Well, today is finally our last day of house sitting after 3+ weeks...
26 days of not sleeping in our bed.
26 days of dealing with animals that just aren''t cute anymore.
26(okay actually 15 at this house) days of being woken up before 5AM!

I''m glad that we were able to help out the people we love by keeping their pets happy, but it was just way, way, way too much. I seriously don''t want to consider house sitting again for at least a year.

Also, when BF and I get off of work we have to get to work and clean his mom''s house, because she likes coming home to a clean house so much. It''s just so much work cleaning up after those dogs(not to mention, yes the mess we make.)

I ordered 8 pairs, including a pair for my mom and 1 pair for my wedding.
6pm.com (owned by zappos?? I think??) was having a big sale... I saved over $424 with this sale (original price)
Sadly, for some reason my feet swelled up like BALLOONS yesterday and they are still a bit puffy. I think I have to stick to flip flops until the puffiness goes down

What''s crazy is that some of the shoes on 6pm were like 50% less than what zappos had their sale price at! Crazy!
