Why do people post personal problems asking for truthful advice, but then get angry when you give it to them? If you are going to be so sensitive, dont post your problems!! We are all here to help each other, we are not "picking" on anyone..Geez get over yourself. I feel much better now.

lol lilyfoot. I think it's hilarious when tattoos are screwed up. I mean, come on! I have tattoos, DH has tattoos, we're smart enough to make sure they're right BEFORE they're permanent. My ex-BIL had a tattoo on his arm that said very clearly "BARK." It was done very badly but that's definitely what it said. The first time I met him he shook my hand and I asked why he had "bark" on his arm. He replied, "that's my name." "Um, your name is Bark??" "NO, my name is Hank." (um, okay, but your tattoo says bark...)

lol! On one hand, messed up tattoos are funny, but they're mainly just sad because they're permanent! Eek!

ETA: Hank really just needs to learn to accept his "bark" tattoo! Make up a cool story, and go with it, lol!

I guess the tattoo artist was dyslexic...

As I am in my office trying to clean up for the day...I see something moving out of the corner of my eye. Well...that what happens when you spend too much time in your shrink's office, say I to myself. But then I see a tiny mouse. Oy...
First, I pay an arm, a leg and probably a huge chunk of other parts for this office. It is a nice office area.
Second, there is no food in my office.
Third, I am not afraid of mice but my patients may be...and I am not a mouse-trapper.

I guess I should bring my new kitty into the office. My other cat is too big. Hopefully the kitty knows how to catch mice!

I just had an amazing talk with one of my coworkers. She has had quite a life, and she shared what she's been through with me, in hopes that I can learn from her mistakes (mostly financial stuff). It came at the perfect time, since I was just talking with my husband this morning about spending less, saving more, etc. I've been trying to change my eating style to be healthier, and now I'm going to change my spending style as well, for the better. I'm excited

I really wish I could volunteer at an animal rescue/shelter, but I just can't handle it emotionally. Right now I'm crying because I read a few different dogs stories on a local rescue's website. I had to close the site out because the pictures and stories are way too much for me to handle. I can't believe the things people do to animals

It has been PIDDLING rain here for the last three days, nonstop. NONSTOP. We had a glorious few weeks of warmth and sunshine, and god help me but I think there's a hint of a tan on my pasty skin, but now it's back to this gray, saturating rain. For anyone who was ever in any doubt as to why the Irish are such a nation of pissheads, THIS IS WHY. I am sick of getting soaked every time I feckin look out the window, I am sick of watching tv, I am sick of indoor pitch and putt, I don't want to go to the cinema again...

...there's only one thing for it.

I'm off to the pub.

I went to see Despicable Me (Steve Carell) and it's hilarious. I loved it. Quite possibly my favorite summer movie (well, not like there is much to beat at this point.)

It was very very cute and I recommend it for a "pick-me-up" !
