The new yogurt they're using at Planet Smoothie is sweetened with the Stevia plant. I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Does it taste icky? I've heard it's a really good used as a sweetener.

No, it tastes fine .. I just don't know anything about Stevia, as far as it's safety.

I went shopping at New York and Co. and I got a few work clothes since I just gutted my closet! Where else do you PSers shop for work clothes when work is normally business casual?

I got some really awesome deals at the J.Crew, Banana Republic and Gap outlets here the other week. I like Old Navy and Target for basics. Oh, and Marshalls/TJ Maxx too.

The underwire was poking out of my bra and prodding my chest so I removed it.

My left breast is now significantly more supported than my right.

I hate when that happens. I just end up taking the other one out, and then the whole bra goes to sh!t :blackeye:

It was a long time coming so it's getting chucked once I take it off. I hate bra shopping but I'm going to have to make a trip to the lingrie outlet store this week to replace it. Stupid massive boobies.

MIL may have pancreatic cancer. I wanted to do a thread asking for prayers. But got a syntax error. I emailed the admins, wanted some prayers for today.

I'm getting giddy with the thought that summer vacation will be over soon for the kids.
I think I'll schedule a mani/pedi, shopping, lunch with a friend and a massage for Aug 9th!
Its going to be one busy day all about ME, ME, ME! Wooo-hooo!!!

Kaleigh, thoughts and prayers to your MIL! She must be waiting for test results?

Yes, we are waiting for the results. Hoping for good news. Thanks packrat!!!

Bah.

Blah. Just... blah.

Me too Yssie, me too.

kaleigh - Prayers outgoing... I hope the results are negative.

Hot and humid weather is back, so I moved the baby stuff to the basement again so we can sleep. All this humidity is making my knees ache and I feel like an old lady.

It is way. too. hot. here. I can't sleep at night! I'm sick of this heatwave and the mosquitoes it brings with it. I'm getting bitten all over the place! We don't usually have many mosquitoes in the summer, but this year they are breeding like there's no tomorrow. Ugh.

I go to the same places too! Except I never seem to find anything when I go to the Gap, I should also visit J. Crew and BR more often. I go to Ann Taylor and I just recently discovered Dressbarn and they've been pretty good when it comes to sales! Lilyfoot, have you found any place that sells wrinkle free button down collared women's long sleeve shirts? I hate to iron and the ones I ended up buying must be ironed. Grrr...

Oh god, I would love to be able to help but my office is on the very-casual side of business-casual, so I only own 1 button-down shirt! Sorry!!

Oh Kaleigh I'm praying your MIL's results come out negative

Fingers crossed for good news Kaleigh.

Yesterday I found a silk shantung dress at Goodwill. Its from Watters and appears to have lived a previous life as a bridesmaid's dress. It doesn't look too bridesmaidy so I bought it. It was originally $520 and I got it for $5. Gotta love a 99% discount. Now I just need to lose 5 lbs so I can zip it up more easily and possibly dye it to a dark blue or something. Then I get to sit and wait for my next invitation to a super formal event where a floor length, silk dress is in order.

Claritek- great find. I love Goodwill. I've found some great stuff over the years- sometimes with tags still attached.

So I'm ridiculously excited that Delta switched from plain Sun Chips to Garden Salsa Sun Chips. It's the little things. I flew my 85th flight of the year today and let me tell you, those Garden Salsa Sun Chips made it better. I figured out yesterday that I will fly my 100th flight the week after next. I didn't hit 100 until December last year. It depressed me. I'm gone too much.

On the bright side, I'm in Chicago. I love Chicago.

Claritek: Congrats on an awesome steal! I love Goodwill too! One time I got lucky and found a whole Cutco knife set for ony $5 as well!

April20: Have fun in ChiTown! My coworkers are gonna be vacationing from there this weekend and I'm so jealous!

Lilyfoot: Thanks, chica! It's all good! I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled! Btw, I'm helping my cousin get engaged too and we're working on that ring as well! It's definitely engagement season in our family! We definitely need to meet up when I go back for a visit to have a wee little drink in celebration of your wedding and my FSIL's engagement!

firefox.com/mozilla seems to be more compatible with the New Pricescope than Internet Expolorer...go figure. :geek:

It is so darn hot here, I feel like getting in the freezer. Ugh.

I was supposed to have some friends (and their kids) over tomorrow, and we were going to have lunch at my house and then maybe go swimming. All of them cancelled. Granted, I had only invited 4 in the first place, and 3 said they could come. I wouldn't have been upset, but I had JUST returned from grocery shopping with all the food for tomorrow when I checked my e-mail. So now I have tons of food in my fridge, and I'm afraid some will go to waste.

Yep, someone told me to download Opera for my phone w/PS. I did and it really helped.

Then, we got XM Sirius Radio and paid extra to listen to it on the internet. For MACs, Firefox is required. If you don't have Firefox, you cannot hear it.

Zoe, I would be more than happy to help you with your dilemma! I love to eat so we could take care of that full fridge of yours! And my dogs and I love kids and as long as you feed us, we'd love to keep you company while everyone goes swimming!

FI & I sent out our invitations yesterday (we went green and made them online..saved a bundle too) and a quarter of our guests have already responded.

Sweet!!

Apparently clicking a series of buttons is much easier than dropping an RSVP card in the mail :rodent:

Kaleigh, I'm praying for good news for your MIL (and your family).

I listed my house for rent earlier in the week. We're trying to get it rented so that we can be free to pursue some opportunities but we don't want to sell yet. The market isn't strong enough to make the profit I know is possible, plus, I want to be able to come back to it. Anyhow, someone is coming to look at it on Friday. I need some rental dust!!

I'm going with Uppy today to try on rings for the first time. L keeps asking what I really want and it's so hard to know without seeing them on your hand. Eeek, so excited!
