DH gave the ring to me this morning for good luck during my defense.

Here is a little sneak preview. I will wear it stacked like this between my wedding band (2 mm platinum plain band) and my e-ring. The ring is white gold but you can't really see much metal so I saved the $300 and went with gold. Holy heck these BGD blingers are amazing in the sun! I have enjoyed it immensely so far today.

I would if I could! Good thing nobody else mentioned anything....or I really would have started plucking away. It drives me insane when every persons status is the same...not sure why, but it does.

Today is NEW APPLIANCES DAY!! Weeee my new fridge, microwave and stove are being delivered and installed today! (dishwasher, long story.)

I also sold an item on ebay (second ever, I'm normally a buyer). Learning curve for sure.

You lucky lucky girl!!! I would love to see him in concert one of these days...I was driving on the NJ Turnpike today and listening to a live version of "Stay (Wasting Time)" and it was fabulous! I was literally dancing as I was driving...anyone who listens to him and doesn't feel like getting up and dancing is...well, it's just impossible to not move to his music! Hope you have a fantastic time, let us know how it was!

June and Gem- OMG> What a show. Then he rocked it out in Dallas, too. He played so many good songs- ended with "Warehouse" and also played "Grey Street", "Proudest Monkey","Jimi Thing" and two of my favorite live songs "Tripping Billies" and "Two Step". LOL, it is strange, as big of a venue as that place is (Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion) I managed to be chased down by 6 people I haven't seen in the range of 6 months to 10 years...LOL, always a reunion at DMB concerts in my hometown!

Next on the list? VEGAS BABY!!! We take off Saturday- I.CAN'T.WAIT.

Gemgirl - I braved it for 3 bites. I felt HORRIBLE b/c it's one of my favorite restaurants, but I just couldn't eat it. I ate some of my mom's nachos and then we had their amazing bread pudding which completely made up for it. It was just so strong... and really... that smell you smell at the zoo? I keep thinking like monkey poo.... or... peacock? That was the taste. Never again. I must admit though that I love bison, so really, I don't WANT to eat them. I'm just a try everything once kind of gal.

Was this a bison steak or a bison burger? Because I *love* bison burgers, but I've never tried it any other way. Bison also tastes really good in chilli....

Now that I know I'm staying in my city for a few more years, I'm super impatient to start apartment hunting. I know it's not smart, because I need to save up money first, but I kind of just want to be done with it and start moving on.

Also, I really want to know what kind of space I'm working with so I can figure out how I'm going to decorate. My living/dining area is brown/red/gold/orange/plum and my bedroom is going to be white/grey/teal/yellow. I can't wait. I'm going to make an upholstered headboard and I pick out the fabric this weekend. I have no idea what I'm going to end up with. Is that bad? I feel like that's bad. I don't want anything with too weird a pattern, or anything too modern - I'm a very eclectic girl, decor-wise and whatever it is it's going to have to work with my travel stuff and my random things like my glass skull votive holder from Z Gallerie. (Yes, I'm a weirdo. But it was called the "Yorick votive" and I'm a big lit nerd and I love skulls for some reason so I just couldn't turn it down.)
