Depends on what "it" is. I work in a nursing home, some of those people haven't used it in a long time, but boy they still think they got it. And some haven't lost it....*shutter*

I worked in a retirement community that also had assisted living... There was one married couple on the assisted living floor. The stories I heard about them.

Why are my antibiotics making my food life miserable? Eating makes me sick. Either I"m starving and get sick after eating, or I don't want food.

Me too. I have an abcess in my mouth and I feel sick constantly on my meds.

I'm sorry you guys aren't feeling well. When you take antibiotics you should replace the good bacteria lining your gut that is being destroyed so I recommend taking a probiotic (at least 4-6 hours apart from the antibiotic so as not to interfere with that action). This may help you to eat without getting sick.

Also, make sure you tell your doctor if you are feeling sick on a particular med as there are others you can try another time if you need to that may not make you feel ill.

I found out today that a family friend passed away earlier this week, very unexpectedly. Her birthday is today (40). Her family lives in FL and I can't be there for the memorial service. My parents are going though. My husband and I are going to the beach (a place she loved) and I'm going to read a letter I wrote to her. We're holding our own service -- that seems fitting. I still can't believe she's gone.
