DH just called and asked “what does it mean when you keep seeing black animals?”
So I had to inform him it is Friday the 13th and now he is convinced something awful is going to happen!
He saw a skunk cross in front of him last night, a dead black squirrel in someone’s driveway and another black squirrel that was just sitting in the middle of the road staring at him today

@lala646 here is hoping it is just taking a long detour and arrives safe and sound. It is the worst to have a package go an unexpected route. Get it together USPS!

I had a similar issue with them earlier in the summer. A package from Nevada made it all the way here, then got sent all the way back to the seller's home town, then it finally came back to NYC, pretty sure by pack mule it took so long. Ended up taking 38 days from the day they took receipt of the package. I was pulling my hair out.

I swear that I’m not making this up, it’s so out there that it’s hard to believe.
DH is having quite the day. So after seeing all these black animals he told me this, he was so freaked out he actually called just to tell me this.
He has taken on a job at work where he visits customers who call in to the utility about trees that are too close to the power lines. He got a call a couple days ago and tried to call the number back but got no answer. Today he went to the address and it’s an apartment complex, he rings the bell and a woman appears at the window. He tells her he got a call from Mr. So and So a couple of days ago and asks her if she knows him. She’s does know him and he confirms the phone number only to find out that her husband is deceased and has been for a while
Even better, there are no trees near any power lines there. I told him he should just come home and stay home!

I would be excited! All about perspective.
It means the beauty of nature in full force and the law of probability applies. It's quite lucky to see black squirrels and skunks in many cultures.
You know, he may be a sensitive to the workings of this universe of ours that we understand so little of.
And he has gotten to be a messenger of love?! The gift he was able to gave that woman is wonderful. He did a good thing as an emissary of 'light'. Tell him thank you from me, I find that very moving.
Friday the 13th was only unlucky for one group.

Yes, Mother Nature was getting him ready and asking him to do a job. She was telling him not to be afraid. In many cultures, seeing skunks especially is for courage, perseverance, protection, joy and truthfulness. It's a sacred animal to many. Black squirrels are directly connected to the spirit world and are carriers of knowledge, positivity, endurance and abundance. It's a sign of really good luck to see them. It was a super strong messenger symbol. You tell him, he did a good thing today and apparently it was important. He did The Mother proud and helped in the grand scheme.

He doesn’t get the calls, they go through a call center. He said the call center might have mixed up some information, but it’s still really strange.

Traveling through the town of Williston, which is apparently North Dakota’s largest fracking boom town. It looks like it might have been a nice little town at one point, but the charm has been buried under lots of rather plain new construction. Ate at the locally named brewery - nice menu, good food. Stopped by the restroom before hitting the road again. The men’s and women’s are labeled TRUCKS and GARAGES, respectively.

Yesterday at work, I was pulling a rack of 15 trays of cookies out of the oven and suddenly the rack tipped forward and I had to push it back so it didn’t land on top of me. Well my neck stopped one of the trays and so off to the the walk-in for treatment of what turned out to be a second degree burn. Very lucky, it could have been so much worse, so I am thankful.
However today I have moments of feeling physically terrible so crossing my fingers that I didn’t end up picking something up during my two hour wait to see someone
