I went back to the bridal salon (elegance lace) and I had the BEST (we all know I''ve been to over 50 bridal salons in the last years) salesgirl EVER. And I FOUND IT.

I actually started to cry.

Which is amazing cause I need to completely redo the top of the gown and replace the (hideous) sash.

I HAVE FOUND THE DRESS. One I am 100% happy with (once the alterations are done)!!



AND....

John thinks he''s found our venue!!!! And from the sound of it, it''s perfect!

I''ll post a pic in a sec... and tell you what I''m altering and how.

Woo hoo Gypsy!!! I never thought I''d have that moment either, and it is such a RELIEF eh?! Congrats, and I can''t wait to see pictures!

Okay. Here's the pic. NO, I totally thought I would NEVER find that feeling.

What I'm going to do is replace that awful sash (the rhinestones are SO cheap looking, and I prefer a simple in adorned sash) and alter the necklice so that it's not a halter/tank. But rather a sweetheart like the under dress is. All the lace is applique (spelling?)... so it's fairly easy to take off the tulle on the halter and sweetheart the whole thing.

The lace has NO BEADING (do you have any idea how hard it is to find that in 'budget' gowns?) and the whole thing is perfect for the vineyard wedding we are going to have!

Sorry no pics of me. The salon doesn't allow it. And honestly? Any pic of me with it would have been R rated if not X rated because of the way we had to tuck the top to get the sweetheart look.

Things are definitely falling into place! And I'm so happy right now. I pictured John's reaction to me walking down the aisle... and while John has seen ALL of the other dresses I bought or that were in consideration. I WANT this one to be a complete surprise to him. I just feel so differently about this one, it's not just A dress. It's the right dress. The dress I'm going to marry my best friend ever in.

I will give details on venue after I've seen it. I want to be sure before I post.

Isaku... yes, it's going to look just right have those changes. Jas, aww, thank you. UCLA, it's INCREDIBLY difficult, but I really had a GREAT bridal consultant. BTW watters is a good line for this too. The runner up was a watters gown. PJ... Isnt the AV fun?
