I also say Mori Lee, You have a figure to die for Harleigh and that is THE dress. You look stunning in it.

Mom Linda. P.S. Your mom is the same age as me.

I think 6 is the best you can get in Olympic Gymnastics. But it''s been a long time since I''ve watched, so who knows.

Dress 1 has my vote. I think the reason is because with the thicker straps, you can get away with a more substantial and supportive undergarment. Plus, I love the style on you.

I don''t like dress 2 because the banding that goes around your torso goes up too far on the ladies, which usually signals that it''s just not big enough for the ladies. I think it''s a gorgeous dress, but because it''s so similar to 1, and 1 seems to fit better...you get the picture.

I really like dress 3, I think it''s really pretty. And probably my second favorite, very feminine and romantic. Ok I just changed my mind, I like 3 more than the other two. I decided after looking again that dress 1''s bodice makes your body look shorter. And speaking as a fellow short person, I like any length I can get. Dress 3 doesn''t break up the lines of your body at all. Plus, I love sparklies!!!!!!!!!!

#3. That''s my final decision and I''m not going back to fix my comments up top. Ok, so what kind of shoes do you want.
31.gif
I love shoe shopping...
LOL..too funny! If a 6 is a high score, then I''m not doing nearly as bad as I thought! Woo hoo!

Also, I think you might change your mind about as much as I do, which is FREQUENTLY!!!

As for the undergarments, I won''t need to wear a bra with whatever dress I choose, but they made me wear one at the salon...it was just crazy! I would have rather worn my own strapless one and just had the back of my bra show, but at least I could have pulled the dresses in a bit more to get a better fit. If I go back, I think I''m going to ask if I can wear my own bra or just go without, because I just didn''t feel like I could get a very good fit on any of them!

As for shoes, I already have 3 pairs, but I''m always open to new ideas!!!

Hee hee hee...thanks for your thoughts, Freke!

I switched out the popcorn for 72% belgian dark chocolate and a bottle of Zin. I needed something fortifying. I''ve been mood swinging (PMSing, but I''ll never admit it), and desperately needed it.

Nope. No luck with the Rivini. I accidently hit relist on it on ebay again, meaning to relist the candlesticks I was also selling instead, but multitasking at work. The minute the auction is done, if it hasn''t sold, I''m whisking it off to preownedweddingdresses.com for sure. Who know, maybe sophie will end up buying ...lol.
Wow! I am in the same PMS''ing mode! Nothing like trying on dresses at your most bloated moment, eh? Yech! I could go for some popcorn, chocolate and a little wine myself...maybe tomorrow will bring me all three (though I''m still keeping my fingers crossed for a wee little bling instead of popcorn, but I''m trying not to get my hopes up, and two outta three ain''t bad!

)

That stinks about your dress...I actually think it is really lovely...I''m sure you''ll sell it when the time is right. Easier said than done, I know, but I''ll keep thinking positive thoughts for you!

Harleigh, all of those dress look great on you. I am so happy that you found a salon with better options. Dress 1 and 2 remind me of an Ann Barge dress I tried on. I like both, but for your dw, I would go with dress #3. Of course I will keep my fingers crossed for that MS dress you liked.
Hi gtn!
35.gif

I do think this salon had better options in sheer quantity of dresses alone, but wow, there were so many to choose from that I didn''t really know where to start!

I don''t think I have ever heard of Ann Barge, but I will keep her in mind if I give up on these, though I don''t think I am ready to do that just yet...I''m hoping one of these beauties will be "the one."

Thanks for the kind thoughts!

I''m willing to share. I''ve actually got a slight buzz going (that''s what happens when you pound your first glass of wine like your at a frat party)

Thank you honey. I really think it''s just waiting for the right bride, personally. It will go where it''s supposed to and make someone very happy.

I hope you get your bling honey!

Woo Hoo what a thrill...
36.gif
you finally went out and tried some on!! The crowd goes crazy!!

I am so frustrated they don''t have one in your size to try on...because your figure is ten times better than those models and you would put them ALL to shame. Chip clipped...and you still look great!

I too say Mori Lee
36.gif
. I like how the detail accentuates your waist and in the correct size your upper assets will look fabulous. I do like the booty detail on it too. I mean the lace compliments that area. Those lines are there to showcase your figure and it works. In all your other dresses I think you have chosen Lacy, feminine details...the other two tonight are sophisticated and quite elegant, but because I have seen your previous choices, I seem to see you in lace and beading. So the Mori just feels right for you, to me.

I do also like the one you didn''t get a chance to try on. The Maggie. It looks nice from the back too. I has a touch more modern bride line to it...whereas the Mori has more traditional expression. The Maggie gives you a lower hip detail that will be booty great from the back with the little folds of material of the hip detail...and the top is lovely. You have so many great assets in your little frame...and your little booty is something you should showcase and not neglect!

My vote...is the #3.
30.gif
You really look incredible in it!! Yeah!!

But I am willing
2.gif
to take a peek at the Maggie if you can get a fitting...
don''t allow that comment to discourage you...it isn''t my intention. That mori is fabu!
What? No "booty-rouching, booty-rouching, yeah, yeah?" However, (my former diamond twinkie
14.gif
,)
I knew my booty would come into play somewhere along the way if you chimed in! You are so sweet, and I appreciate your kind words, as always, as well as your unbiased input from afar.

I, too, am frustrated about not being able to try any on in my size...much as I''m sure other girls hate trying on dresses that are too small.
40.gif
Unless you''re a perfect size 10 or 12, wedding dress trials can be just that...a TRIAL!!! I guess I don''t have much of an imagination when it comes to envisioning what these gowns "could" look like on me...I just hate that they don''t fit and have a hard time getting past that.
23.gif

To be honest with you, though, I''m not sure if I really LOVED the beading and lace on any dress, but I''m not opposed to it, either. I think of myself as a fairly plain person, so maybe that''s why I leaned toward some of those, as well. All I know is that I just want to not only look, but feel, beautiful on my wedding day. I don''t think I''m one of those gals that will break down crying over a dress...there are ones I like more than others, but I don''t know that I will just "fall in love" with a particular one, either. Is that bad to say out loud??? Yikes, I hope I didn''t just break a cardinal sin here on PS by admitting that!

Thanks for your help, DKS! I will definitely let you know if I find the MS to try on, but no one locally carries it, so it would pretty much be a shot in the dark!

Were you looking for a new daughter, by any chance? I come with no labs and can pay my own way!

Another vote for Mori Lee...I am keeping track between everyone here and my BM''s and friends I sent the pictures to. My one friend cracked me up so much I may have to post her response on here just for the kicks and grins!

Trust me, that Ann Barge dress is not budget friendly. I tried on a bunch of dresses at a high end salon to figure out what dresses look good on me and then went to the more affordable (if you could call $1100 affordable) salons. I went to David''s bridal and did not like many of the dresses I tried on there. Actually the only dresses I would consider, they didn''t have in the store and/or was $1000. I have been looking for the Maggie Sottero AD1001
but have been unsuccessful as well. I did find this Maggie (sierra) that I like. If I can''t find the AD1001 dress to try on, I''m going to order the sierra.

Yes, dear Harleigh I would love to have you as my daughter !!! My daughter isn''t speaking to me right now because she had to give away one of her lab''s because she attacked our Mazie.

LMAO! You are too kind! Maybe we could have a wine party on-line one evening when I''m better equipped to participate! Tonight I''m so tired I would fall asleep on my keyboard in minutes.

And you are very welcome...you''re right...your dress will go to the right person, but you are such a sweet gal and you have had so much to deal with this past year that I would love to see good things happen for you, and SOON! Enough already, I say!
32.gif

I''ll get back to you about the bling after tomorrow night...but again, I''m not getting TOO hopeful...hate to be let down too much unnecessarily!

Oohh...those Maggie''s are lovely! The AD1001 has the pleated tulle much like the Mori Lee one I tried, and I don''t know if it the right look for me, but it looks fantastic on the strapless one you like.

I also like the Sierra...that has nice, clean lines and would be flattering on many figures! Can''t wait to see what you decide!

Aww, you''re so sweet! And see, that''s what I meant when I said I had no labs...no pets at all, in fact. Though I would probably adopt your cutie-pie Mazie, though...it''s so lonely in my house without Maverick here that I need a new cuddle-bug!

I''m sorry your daughter is being that way...I wish she could just put herself in your shoes and imagine how she would feel if another dog attacked hers. I''m sure because it was the other way around that she doesn''t understand, but you are completely in the right. Stick to your guns and hopefully she''ll come around one day soon.

"booty-rouching"

Arghhh...I couldn''t think of the word rouching....I looked like tgals avatar banging my head against my desk!

Yes...I think your booty needs to be out there! It is a cutie! (oh gosh...I don''t swing that way...honest! I just think you are adorable! Every angle of you!!)

Plain...what you? I didn''t realize. I am still mad at your posse or who ever persuaded you the 99 center wasn''t right. That one was lace wasn''t it? If you aren''t lacy and beaded girl...then you shouldn''t be on your wedding. This dress has to be YOU. Which one of them did you REELLY like? If you didn''t feel it yet...you aren''t done. It is that simple. Harleigh...you have details down to travel ziplocs...the dress has to match those details. "Approved for airline code" not necessary, but you just must keep at it if you didn''t swoon. If #1 or 2 did it for you...they will be incredible. You know you will look like the models in those dresses. So you see what they look like. If you like plain...honey take a second look at them and see if you feel more. You in a size 10 just can''t express it right. I feel so strongly about YOUR dress being right. I don''t know why I am so wrapped up in it. I was the same way with Indys. And she nailed it...twice. I just want you to feel the same way!

ps...there are sooo many other people who do too...look at the thread activity count...active I''d say!

I love the Mori Lee! It''s beautiful on you. My next favourite is the casablanca. I just love that dress.

LOL...I''m so sorry to keep you waiting...I didn''t get home till after 8 and I am having a heck of a time downloading from my new camera without screwing everything up, so it was a bit slow going to be able to post them all in a timely fashion.

As for my preference, I truly love the Maggie Sottero one that NOBODY has in-store to try on! The Mori Lee is the closest I''ve seen in person, so that is definitely a contender, but it was of course the most pricey, but I think I could find it for a bit less at Pearl''s Place or the other place (can''t think of the name right now!) that several gals here have found their dresses at.

Thanks for all of your support, Sparkalicious! You are always so sweet, and I appreciate your input, too!

Thanks for all of your support, and I can''t wait to hear what you have to say about this batch!

Hi Sparkalicious! Sorry I didn''t reply sooner, but I''ve been gone since Thursday! I went shopping again today, so I will post a few of those below.

I still have not found the Maggie Sottero one I like, but I think the Mori Lee is similar in style to the MS...I also tried another on today that reminded me of it, as well, so it''d be a crap shoot if I order it, but I''m just not sure what to do at this point!

I''ll start a-postin'' now...

Hi again, Ladies! Sorry I haven't replied in awhile...I have been at Rusty's since Thursday with no time to spare, it seems! Thanks to all of you for trying to help me in my quest to find a dress!

I didn't get a chance to say the other night when I first posted the second batch of dresses because I hadn't thought to ask her permission to say we had met up, but I got a chance to meet up with MINIMS from PS, and she was so sweet to come along and try to help me in my dress search. Thanks so much, MINIMS (which I now know is for "Mini Ms.", not "M & M's" like I had always thought! She has the cutest little mini-cooper!

Well, the feedback I received on the dresses was mixed, and I am truly not attached to any of them, so I went dress shopping again with one of my girlfriend's...sadly, she likes everything I put on, but she could sense when I hated or liked a dress and was responsive to that.

There are pictures of me from just about every view and angle, and I'll even post my icky face in them for you, but please keep in mind I am currently feeling like I'm dying from a migraine...I also worked in the yard all day Saturday so have a red, sunburned face, no makeup on, and no, I did NOTHiNG with my hair at all...I barely made it out of bed today, but after I finished up an appt. I had, I got a wild hair up my butt and started calling around to see about finding some more dresses, but took no time to prepare myself for picture taking...

Enough whining...on with the pictures...
