ooo, AL gorgeous, gorgeous earrings you posted there
hmm belle, we'll I subscribe to DS's theory that I don't want the total carat weight of the earring to be more than my e-ring so I'm thinking .70's- .75's but I'm not a clarity nut so SI2's would be fine with me
That total cwt thing? Yeah....crazy! I'm going more than my e-ring stone, and I'm thrilled. (each stone is smaller, but their combined weight is bigger.)
What about using Belle''s pendant design for that part?Date: 12/29/2006 11:40:20 PM

Here''s the thing.....I''ll need a little input in tweaking the design a bit for the dangly part.
I want something a little detailed and more fluid on the lower piece of the setting (where the stones go). I think....not sure how to modify that to see something a bit unique. Not unique as in NEVER EVER BEEN DONE.......(which is why Belle''s pendant crumb seemed to interesting to me......I liked the flow), but something that''s a bit more embellished than what that picture shows.
Any ideas, anyone?
I've ALWAYS LOVED those......except for one thing. The setting is static on the leverback wire, and I don't want them static. I want them to swing and move.Date: 12/29/2006 11:48:53 PM

Al, love your earring idea but agree it needs to be more fluid. Maybe if the base was wider and tapered up it would give it a more graceful line.
I love your new picture, Tacori! Is that your wedding bouquet or a BM bouquet?Date: 12/30/2006 12:02:34 AM

Actually they were the center pieces. I did have one of my bouquet (stems and my hands) on here for a few weeks but I wanted something more colorful.
Okay, then I''ll just take your current asscherDate: 12/30/2006 12:14:18 AM

Okay, I HATE photoshop but this gives you the idea. I worked on the left earring. I also LOVE the idea of a few melee burnished in there.
ETA: whoops. I am tired. I reworked the right earring NOT the left. Keep in mind I only worked on it for maybe 10 seconds. I am sure Irina could do a beautiful job.

I''m talking about the part that surrounds the diamond....what would normally be called the head on a ring. The prong area. What cups the stones.
That is what I''m looking to modify in some way so it looks a bit more.....elegant, I guess.
