Here''s a pic of our centerpieces...there is a candle in the center of it and then 4 votives around the outside. Unfortunately, the venue didn''t light the candles until _I_ said something to my wedding planner (which was when it was dark already) Oiy!!

Oh, how I wish it had stayed sunny and gorgeous like this!!! It got very chilly and then torrential downpour...but it did pass so that it wasn't raining by the end of the night. Unfortunately, they did have to put the sides of the tent down...which made the music sound a lot louder and I've heard about it from several of the parents/grandparents. LOL!!!

I love the centerpieces too - I bet they were even prettier with all the candles lit! I like the idea of the candle in the middle of the flowers though - very unique!

Hey Luvthem! thanks so much for your sweet comments. Yep...I LOVE the newsboys, the band!! I''m VERY bummed that the lead singer just left, though. Not sure it''s going to have the same sound/feel anymore. :-\ Maybe if they had replaced him with ANOTHER Aussie?

And everyone else...thank you SOO SOO much for your sweet thoughts!! I sooo wish I could go back and re-do the day again. There are so many things I would do differently...but better! Not that I''m having regrets, I''m SOO not, but I''m looking back and seeing that some of the stress was just completely unwarranted and also, I just really wish I could have mingled with and spent more time with the guests.

I''m super excited to get my pro photos, too!! YAAY!!! She said 2 to 2.5 weeks which...it''s almost 2 weeks (It''s been 11 days) What I''m NOT excited about?? Getting my top braces put back on tomorrow at 8 am. *CRY* LOL But, at least this gave me a chance to see there IS a light at the end of the tunnel and it''s a VERY beautiful light, indeed.

Grr...I just posted something pretty long and I got an error. Not sure why...here goes again:

I''m glad for these 2 photos. My little sis took these pics. I''m glad for them because there are a few things I really didn''t get to take a close look at...the table being one of them. Another thing I''m bummed about is that since our photographer was taking pics of us at the church while our guests went ahead to the reception venue for cocktail hour, I don''t think any photos were taken of the ''welcome table'' (the place cards, card holder, guestbook, etc.).

PS The pic of the table....see the votives on the table? Those were all supposed to be lit BEFORE guests arrived. AND, actually, I had to MENTION IT to my wedding planner HOURS LATER before they were even lit!! Isn''t that WEIRD?? For a place that''s done events for a LOONG, LOONG time (we''re talking the current owner''s grandparents used to run the place), you''d think they''d be on the ball a little more?!!
