Well this was a major consideration for us. A friend of my brothers has a full grown mastiff and when he shakes his head the drool hits their 18 foot ceilings...YUCK!
So my older sister who also wanted one found a breeder in Texas who breeds mastiffs which do not drool. It is quite nice and he is a funny little thing.

Ghostbusters and is hoping that our Zuel will look like that Zuel....I do not pretend to know why that would be appealling but she insists that puppy was sooo cute and ran really fast! He he he.

Congrats!

We just got our second great dane 4 months ago - so we share a love of growing puppies. Our oldest is six. Our new puppy comes from a HUGE dad and mom - so we are shooting for 200lbs ourselves. Danes are pretty tall - and dad and granddad were 6''5" + on their hind legs.

No room on the couch for me..

Laney great danes are super cute! My older sister had one...it was a wee bit of a chicken. But very nice. It was Wilimina May, my parents had one when they first got married named Kitty. Lovely animals.
