Is 1.8 mm too thin for a 2.5 carat diamond?

Thanks everyone for your replies! Thought I’d circle back with the band I’m likely getting, in case anyone is interested. It’s 1.75 tcw, about 3 mm I believe. Bigger seemed to take away from the diamond, imo.

I think it’s a perfect band for it. Sparkly but doesn’t overwhelm the engagement ring
