Is this ring safe to resize from 4 to 3.5 ?

My grandma, mum & me (well past tence for me) and judging my her wedding band also my great grandma have small hands and fingers
mum was very good at keeping her rings in wearable condition and had had them resized in her mid 60s to fit as her fingers got so thin
i had to have everything resized to fit me because im not sure if beefy is the right word?
Because i seem to have pudgy fingers now

my great grandma's ring was so tiny i only got it sized as a pinky ring and i wear another ring with it always as security
I was starting to feel a bit embarrassed by this
But when i ordered my little silver signet ring to memorialize Tibby the jewler said lots of people order those sizers

Anyway im just glad the hot weather we have had the last 5 months had passed and i have ankles and wrists again
Maybe my neck has got smaller too ???

I guess i now kind of like the idea of summer and winter rings

No but it was my avatar for a while, and I may have posted it years ago on the emerald thread. It was this one. No one seemed too interested when I posted -- I guess not the conventional style. But I do love it still.

Orange is my fave color, and I swoon over emeralds. I love the organic feel to this piece, too! Toi et moi rings are very trendy right now but you were way ahead of the curve!

Maybe I will do a thread on it --just 15 after the fact. When I look at prices now I realize we kind of lucked out -- back than neither emeralds nor colored diamonds were in vogue.
