THANKS much for the report on your trip to Whiteflash! I am fairly new to PS, and am weighing all the pros n cons about buying online. I can honestly say that I''m leaning towards it, and my e-vendor favorite is Whiteflash! I had no idea that you could acutally visit their location & see all their *glorious* offerings in person! I do know that I want a princess, but am unclear on which setting (I''n thinking simple platinum). Trying them on would certain help! Hmmmm.... I will be in Houston week after next on business, and would gladly set some time aside to visit with the folks there. Who did you work with to set it up?

THANKS in advance!

CG,

Hi. We would be delighted to meet with you by appointment. We prefer to work with you via phone and email first, to narrow your field of diamond candidates, then arrange for a personal viewing in our production offices where we can discuss diamond education and show you a little buffet of beauty

Feel free to call, email or PM.

Stephan, I don''t think I''ve publicly thanked you for the kind words. You''re the best - I hope to catch you on the return trip.

If someone has to say thank you it''s me.
Your team did so much for me, and that on a Sunday and on Labor day!
We had dozens of mails with Denise who always answered all my questions,
and that for only one diamond and it''s only an upgrade!
Who can do better?

Can you guys on this forum imagine what it would be if for each diamond sold
Whiteflash has to send 30 mails? It was the case with me.

Great feeling, great business !

Hey, JohnQ,

Three questions?

1) Is WF nearer HOU or QHO?
2) What''s the name of that steak house across the street?
3) Let me know how you feel about my revising my "suggestions for shopping....

P.S. A premium of approx $248 can get someone from my neighborhood to Houston, for same day travel, it appears....

Regards,

Thanks for the info. I''ll PM you shortly and we can take it from there.
BTW- I''ll be in Houston on 9/20, and should have the afternoon free.
THANKS again!

I don''t think that the 30 e-mails for every diamond sold would be a problem for Whitflash as much as the taking each customer to Target for sunscreen!

Hi Ira - I didn't see this until just now.

Three answers

1. Hobby Airport is 30 mins away. Intercontinental is about 50 minutes. With bad traffic (8-10AM or 4-7PM) double either of those estimates.

2. Ruth's Chris is the steakhouse across from our offices (on Richmond). Galleria area.

3. I am so submerged in a project right now you can't reach me with depth charges - but I will try to put my sonar on the revisions as soon as I have time.

PS: $248 for same day travel is less than some people are paying for a commute with gas prices right now

...Seriously though, how cool would that be to have you in?

Hi Belle!
I think it will be done soon.
It feels great to see that I''m not the only one waiting!
They have very nice tequila here on South Padre to make the time go by faster.

hey stephan!
yes, i am very excited to see your ring....you do have a camera with you right?
20.gif

it sounds like you''re having a nice time in south padre
36.gif

what kind of tequila do they have down there? i''m partial to don julio myself
18.gif

I like all kind of tequila''s.
I also tasted one that was rose ?!?
But I still prefer my J&B coke...

The sunblock didn''t work yesterday, I guess I was to long in the water.
emcry.gif

So...do you have a ring yet?!

i can''t wait either...do u?

Sorry, I''m still waiting too!
face4.gif

ah well, prefection takes time right?

rose tequila? how was it?

with all that sun you''re getting, you should be a bronzed beauty by the time you get back!
31.gif

Just don''t get so dark you look like George Hamilton or something

As you can see on the "Show me the ring" forum, the thing is on my finger and I can''t stop looking at it. It''s just what I wanted.
And Brian impressed me by spending so many hours with me!
Denise and Jamie went out with me a second time and treated me to a dinner again.
I should shame myself!
The people in the office work so much, I didn''t realize that before.
I had a great time.
