Oh Sheesh Coats, I have to keep coming back to admire your new ring - it is just entrancing !

May I ask, is this one of his already established designs or did you help design it? Did you decide not to go with his asymmetrical look on purpose?

Pls excuse all the q''s , I''m just So In love with it !

Thanks again, you.

This is not one of his established designs-but a variation. I wanted it to be symmetrical, so we discussed balancing it. I love his asymmetrical pieces too, and someday, I''d like one for a colored gem ring(or pendant), but for the e-ring, I wanted something really simple.

Thank you Kimberly!

Psst...I showed FI your ring and he loves it too!!

I took a break from Pricescope a while back because I have been so busy working on my new photography business. (Ok, not really...I HAVE been working on my biz but mostly I just became a wee bit too obsessed! lol)

Dreamed of rings last night and came straight here at work this morning and this thread is the first one I looked at. Your new ring is absolutely BREATHTAKING! I adore it! It reminds me a little bit of some of the Fay Cullen rings I''ve bookmarked with the sides the way they are. It has everything I love all rolled into one! Except for a halo but it''s so beautiful I think I might just nix the halo idea!

Can''t WAIT to see it with your band. :)

Hi Coati! I don''t come out of lurkdom to post much but your ring inspired a log in! I''ve always thought you have a beautiful and enviable collection (not to mention lovely hands) but this takes the cake. What a gorgeous ring!

I truly think it is a work of art. love, love, love it!

Wow, it''s just stunning! It really lets your stone be the star yet remains eye catching itself!

ohhhhh my gosh....

I normally love love love bezels because they are so sleek and modern-looking to me (I love my ring but I think the ones I love more than mine are round stones with bezel settings)....

but THIS bezel is SO special and antique-y looking...the detail is absolutely to die for--I L

Dani--thank you! I adore your rings-you have such an ideal set!

Thank you firegoddess! I love your pear!

Thanks so much alli_esq!

Moon--tell your fi--thank you!!

Holy crap! This is seriously the most beautiful ring I''ve ever seen!

WOW!!! I Love it! Just a stunning, stunning piece.

I love that the bezel is so thin and the milgraining is tiny and not overdone, and the rest of the ring, almost architect-like structure and flourish is very complementary to it. I really like the depth, almost carved nature of the "support" yet the bezeling around the diamond is so fine.

Oh me, oh my, Coati! That is one perrrrfect ring you''ve created. Your diamond just sings in that amazing setting. The milgrain is impeccable and there is so much to enjoy. Such a feast for the eyes! Wonderful photos, too.

It is a one of a kind piece. I don''t usually like bezels, but yours is lovely.

Very nice and original! Classy!
