Just tuned in a little late ... and saw this beautiful stone! Jeff has outdone himself! How great that he was able to get the very most out of that rough! Enjoy it !!!!

Got the stone - it's flipping fantastic!

Really, I can't believe such a stone exists. I have never seen anything light up and sparkle like this stone - it's a colored stone, and it makes rainbows! I didn't get to play with it until this evening, but the color was so intense in the setting sun that I can't wait to see it in other lights.

Since I was losing the light, I only got a few pics, but I promise I'll take more and get better ones for you guys!

Thank you, TL - I wondered that myself! I was completely ahhhh-struck by the light return when I opened the box - it's fantastic. My pictures don't even come close to capturing the way the light plays off the stone - the movement is just simply mesmerizing. I am really beyond impressed with Jeff's work, and I couldn't recommend him more highly.

I love "ahhhh-struck." Perfect! I think there's a little chip in that stone, hidden by Jeff, that makes it light up. It's absolutely absolutely gorgeous. I don't know how you'll ever be able to wear it & do anything besides stare at it in all kinds of light. It's perfection.

Thank you, Pregcurious! I've gotta admit - I had NO clue garnets did this! I have a red one, and while I adore it, it doesn't even come close to the light display of this little guy. I think I'm a convert too - it's a lucky thing that garnets come in so many colors

Definitely a sparkler, which is why I'm not a fan of the traditional medium dark green garnets, which do not show the same sparkle as the lighter toned green garnets. Hope to see this one set soon!

Chrono - I totally agree with you! I am very drawn to lighter colors for exactly that reason, and I hope I can get it set sooner, rather than later too!

Well, since you love the word, and I love using it, and it very much fits in this situation, that stone is AMAZEBALLS!!!!!! I really love it. I think tapered baguettes on either side would look stunning, but really…it would be pretty hard to make that stone look bad. And I know what you mean on the garnet thing. I'm a bit of a convert myself.
