Join my journey to an overblue stone!

Holy big rocks, and a D to boot!

wow crazy distortion and lost contrast in that one.... quite bright in the studio lighting..... how does it look in the spin video ??

super hazy haha

@freddyboston the E/I1 (post #133) is back available. Thoughts on it vs the super hazy one i attached before? Pics of both attached below

i like the milky E it - it at least passes for a "normal" looking until you expose it to UV... Be good for @ Hawaii vacation - milky snowball during the day by the pool and then firey crown at night under candles and tiki torches....
it's listed now @ another vendor - maybe JA will match ( JA is easy returns or keep it use for 2x upgrade) only issue is is the strong FL strong enough....

Yup that's my dilemma at this point--is the strong fluor strong enough. Do you see potential for being milky/overblue @Karl_K ?

Such a fun thread, bordering on the exotic.

Nice example of the milky high clarity overblue D + VSB they all fear....

Cant tell without in person look or uv/no uv images.

Huh, I wonder if it wojld actually be milky IRL with such high clarity
The classic overblue is only milky/oily under uv/sunlight.
Otherwise its just a milky stone with florescence.
So it really depends on what you want.
A classic overblue may be a life time hunt.

that graining is pretty good - even in the studio lights i'm seeing odd violet and blue notes..... could be a hazy bluish / no contrast "snowball" under more UV

Is this listed anywhere or only on Idexx?

so far i only see it only offered for retail sale at a self proclaimed "Under Market Value Diamonds" retailer in Australia... Maybe US retail doesn't want to deal with or list it - would likely be a return if customer didn't want hazy. Idex says the stone is in Mumbai

It's like the Elvis Song...
You look like an angel ,Walk like an angel, Talk like an angel
But.......You're the devil in disguise

7250?!!?! OMG so expensive

Seems like an awful lot for a .90 that most people would return.
Report is dated August, 2024. I have stuff in my fridge older that that.

Ps. Do you think this one is more promising than the other one i pisted a cert for? With both the internal/external graining, additional clouds, etc?

by the way - there's a small .40ct VSB milky H out there @ $544.00

I saw that one but had ruled it out because of the H color. Do you think it'll still have the overblue effect even though its not D-F?

Image of the other one i posted (internal + external graining, additional clouds + twinning wisps, etc)

I agree. The price is kind of silly for what it is. Let's be real, no one except ppl like me want this haha.

But you’re not completely alone :)
