Oh fun! I haven''t posted much in here (or in PS in general lately), but now that it''s wedding crunch time I''m going to need some help from you ladies!

I think I''ve handled most of the big things, but now I''m drowning in the details.

Register in real stores (maybe this weekend - fun!!)

His wedding band
Makeup and accessories
Bridesmaid dress shopping w/one bridesmaid
Buy wedding insurance (seriously, self, just do it already!!)

Finalize song list for ceremony
Make a decision on reception music - piano player or iPod?
Design ceremony (our officiant is a friend, so no pre-made script)
Start on that last 5-10 pounds
Finalize cocktail menu for reception
Figure out the seating plan...I''m already dreading it!

It''s amazing how many little things need to be decided, arranged, ordered, etc. that you never even think to think of. After I got all the big things done I thought I could slack off for a while, but now I''m more stressed than ever!

We''re a little behind on the Save the Dates and my entire family is callng/emailing me every week asking about it. Seriously people, it''s not like you don''t know the date!!! lol

Anyway, I''m probably going to be looking for some advice on these things soon, so brace yourselves!

Hello all and date twins! June 20th here. Hopefully I don't miss anything..

Done (not in order of completion):
-Theme/colors
-Dress received (lives at the shop for safe-keeping)
-Veil
-Shoes
-Jewelry
-Musicians for ceremony
-Venue for ceremony and reception (came with caterer)
-Officiant
-Photographer
-Videographer
-Save the dates done (need to mail them)
-Invitations almost done
-BMs picked and asked
-Florist
-Cake bakery
-Ceremony decor done
-Reception decor essentially done
-Registry (although updated often )
-Transportation because we're probably just using our own cars..
-Decided on an updo
-Ordered the BM dresses, woohoooo!
-We picked a DJ, sending deposit on Friday. The most stressful thing I think, but I think we found someone!
-We booked a hotel in Cancun for the honeymoon, but we need a flight.
-Picked the invites, now working on enclosures.
-Bought our wedding bands!! I picked mine up today, will do a SMTR thread this weekend.
-FI FINALLY asked his last groomsman.
-Epics x 2 - we had a formal studio portrait done of just me (today) and our photog did e-pics as well.

Need to:
-Mail Save-the-dates - omg yes I've had them for like 3 months and between finals, the holidays, and law school apps I still have not addressed them and mailed them. I'm doing it within the next few days!
-Book rehearsal dinner
-Tuxes
-Do we want programs?
-Candy table or donations as favors? I think we're going to do donations and give cookies or something to go along with it.
-Am I doing make-up myself or having my Mom do it? I am thinking I will
-Book bridal portaits
-Buy gifts for BMs & Groomsmen
-Finish out of town packages
-Room block?
-Decide on menu - we are closer this time!

Yay got some more things done in the past two weeks-last week D and I got the mens suits booked and he tried on wedding rings. We also printed out a mock of the invites and have ordered the paper for the main ones. This weekend my sister and I went and found our bridesmaids dresses. I also found the most lovely priest ever who has agreed to marry us.

It was a custom made ring from a local jeweler. However, I've seen similar designs pop up lately at a lot of other stores. I wasn't into prongs because I'm a nurse. Good luck finding/designing a ring that you'll love forever!!!

So I exaclty 4 months and one week away from the wedding....AHHHH! It''s amazing how fast time flies

Well, the good news is that I am making some progress. The bad news is that one or two things are hot button issues and I have thought about eloping...but they seem to be settling down now (hopefully). Overall though, I think its gone pretty well considering how many decisions and people are involved.

In any event, I thought I would give an update of my January progess:
