I wanted to say thankyou to everyone for their lovely comments on the ring.

I have never seen anything like it, and love it more now if that is at all possible. I must admit I did have a small moment of guilt after the hammer fell at the auction, as it did go for over its auction estimate, and I did wonder if I might have paid a little too much.
But as soon as I had it in my possession, I snapped out of it.
