I love colored gemstones and warmer toned diamonds! I just took the plunge and purchased a 2.5 ct GIA U-V light brown diamond. It is 8.7mm round and I plan to set it in rose gold. I have it next to my 0.8 ct champagne diamond in 14k rose gold size 5. I took these pictures around my office.

Thanks! I'm excited for rose gold. I just put it into a silver setting and I think I prefer the rose gold to bring out more of the brown hues.

I couldn't help but take more pictures. I placed the stone into a sterling silver ring setting just to see how the color changes. I think I will for sure put it into rose gold to bring out more of the warmth. Fingers crossed it won't darken the stone!
