Love the photos thanks. Yeah the boss was in the buying and selling of jewelry so he knows what he is looking at. I am not sure how she would really feel. I know he gave her choice of stone shape and setting the rest she left to him .

Ah, that makes more sense… now I’m less concerned about the cut (he’ll know what he’s looking for/at) - it can be tricky to find a nice looking oval! My cousin has an oval. I helped her fiancé shop, we must have looked at a dozen ovals to find “the one.”

I still think the 3ct/I/VS has more universal appeal. Either way I’m sure it will be beautiful, ovals can be so elegant!

She looks so happy so I think she probably is just impressed that he proposed after 6 years together. It was a total surprise. She won't ask to see the GIA papers. I am just so happy she is so happy
