My Vote is for 2........lovely, elegant, that last little bead drop is perfection. Number 2 to me, is not distracting or competing, just simply lovely and complimentary. For some reason when I look at it it just blends and s beautiful. Like it finishes everything off....

(BIG fan of chandelier earrings!)

That being said, if pair 5 is too heavy, its a no go. Comfort is key on such a long day. 1 screams elegance AND comfort. Thats my vote.

I second 1 being too casual and not really matching your style.
I love 5, but as they are heavy, go with four. They are classic, a good shape and will be perfect with an updo.

Nope, not even close, which is why I''m so wary of them. I''m usually not a big earring person. Studs, delicate dangles, hoops and drops make up the vast majority of my earring collection. I have rather small earlobes, so there isn''t a lot to spread the weight onto.

Buttercup, I know what you mean about the naked wire. I''m starting to wonder if the perfect pair of earrings would be about the size of 6, maybe just a little bit bigger. Similar shape, but with a covered post as buttercup described. More nicely made to avoid the squares wrapped around the teardrop (not a huge fan of the rhinestone look).

I vote for the 2nd and last pairs you posted. Lovely earrings which suit you the most.

I vote #3. I like the long lean lines the best, and I think those look really pretty with your hair up, and can stand alone without a necklace. You know?

Where did you get #5 though? Those look interesting...

Quite the contrary! You guys have been LOTS of help! I needed to bounce ideas and opinions around, and you guys did exactly that for me. That, and you all have fabulous taste, and I knew I could trust you to point out any potential disasters for me! Thanks so much for all your feedback!!!

So, to bring this crazy over the top party to a close, I am planning to hold onto #2 and return the others. I'm risking being a two-earrings (pairs, that is) bride, because there's a little part of me that thinks there might be something out there I'll love more. But, in all truth of the matter, I really do love #2, as do many of you and my MOH. As for FI, I showed him all of these, and he said no to every pair except #2 - to #2 he said "eh...ok I guess". MEN!

Also, since the topic of my hairstyle came into discussion, allow me to present my updo inspiration. I was a dork and got the dvd from the library last night and took screenshots (of every angle!) on my computer.

ETA: Sorry that's so huge!! Forgot to shrink it...
ETA2: I'm wearing a veil just for the ceremony/pics, and I'm thinking petite hairpins tucked in here and there.
