May you feel better everyday!
Thanks @canuk-gal
It has been a real rough couple of months. I never thought I'd feel "normal" again. I spent many hours curled up in a ball on the couch. Mouth pain is the worst.

Wind chills are -2 right now.
They are probably staying inside somewhere, like I am! Hopefully they will come out later today or tomorrow when it's a bit warmer.
I got goosebumps just reading about it.
I'm sick. Just a cold but gotta work the next three: 24, 25, 26. Viruses suck and their timing in pretty sus too.
Poor you. Try to be as well as you can, friend.
Oh no, that's an unexpected big expense!! When are they expected to install it? I don't know where you live, but in the north where I live we would freeze without heat!
Update to post #3012. New HVAC system ordered. Sigh. The good news is at least the new system will be more energy efficient than the current one.
Ugh, do you think DK can fix it @Lookinagain ? Or do you already have someone in mind?
I just heard back from Amy and she says that they can fix it! Yeah! So much better than having to have it remade. I'll ship it off when they get back into the office Jan. 2. So nice of her to answer me while they are out.
First GRUMPY
Our Brooklyn maintenance went up 29%, That's right, 29%. We are paying a fortune for a place we are not even visiting let alone living in but I just cannot give it up right now. Am getting close though. Greg is board president and they had no choice but to approve the increase. GRRrrrrr. Due to increases in everything. Insurance, taxes and salaries due to prevailing wage law. It is getting to be too expensive to live in Brooklyn now let alone Manhattan. I thought our property taxes were expensive in NJ but our maintenance in Brooklyn is more than double...getting close to three times our cost in NJ
Second GRUMPY
NY and NJ do not offer PPOs to anybody purchasing health insurance not through an employer
There are no options
This started after Obamacare
Before that we had PPOs
Really an untenable situation for those of us who have medical issues and specialists in other states
Third GRUMPY
Not so much grumpy as sad. Bobby is not doing well and soon we have to make a difficult decision
(and a few other very challenging cat issues I am not going into right now)
Very sad our furry babies live for such a short time
All those things are awful Missy! Are you able to rent your NY place?
ARGGG. This is a small matter compared to what many of you are experiencing, so please take it for what it is--getting something off my chest. I sold a high-end item on Poshmark, accommodating the buyer's statement that "the price is quite steep" by throwing in a Nanette Lepore suit, new with tags, essentially for free. She left me 3 out of 5 stars, indicating that the items are beautiful but not worth the money and that I am inflexible and not consistent with PM spirit. I know it's not a big deal and that no one can see the actual comment, and that all of my other 5 star ratings help nullify her rating, but it's one of those stupid things that really gets to me. Thank you for listening, PriceScopers!
