Let's play a game... rainbow gems.

@Nick_G Rough specimens are absolutely welcome! I'd love to see more... this spinel is fabulous!!

@colorluvr That color change sapphire may be my favorite of yours yet! We'll miss you... come visit us again soon, and good luck with your spring cleaning! You're brave. I haven't begun yet. :twisted2:

@Gloria27 Your red spinel is sensational!!

@lilmosun I can honestly say I've never seen a true (non-CVD) orange FCD "in person." Simply awesome!

@icy_jade Your blue sapphire ring collection is INSANE!!

@Avondale The carnelian kitty absolutely counts! I thought it was aventurine for a moment. How adorbs is she?

@Shiny Black Cat I'm not sure we'd seen citrine yet! Thank you for sharing your lovely beads!!

@clumberlove Girl, stop. That thing is killer! :kiss2:

@Daisys and Diamonds What a nicely colored peridot, my friend! And I love how you used bling to keep you covid-free!!

@thirdrock I love, love, love amazonite! And it looks especially cool with the faceted quartz over top.

@Acinom Do we ever tire of blue zircon? I think not! I lurrrrve it in a round... it shows off the brilliance best, IMO. Gorgeous!!

@Atwater Wow, you started off with a bang, huh?! Do you still have it? Lovely cut and color!!

@Kalynna Yay, more rubies! Beautiful rings!! It's so satisfying to clean our jewels and see that scintillation return, isn't it? I'm so happy to hear Daisy has taken a turn for the better! I remember the mental gymnastics I had to do to hide pills in my cat's favorite treats. I just couldn't get used to forcing them down her throat, like the vets do. Eventually, we came to an understanding. She'd eat the damn treat, and I wouldn't have a stroke trying to jam it into her fluffy little head.

@Thparkle Welcome to our (rapidly growing) thread! What a stunning ring... what is the gem? Rubylicious? :geek2:

Yes @Shiny Black Cat, a never-ending, very entertaining thread!
i have a spinel that could count as orange. It is the centre stone in this bangle. In the GRS report it is described as pinkish-orange. All the other stones are spinels, except one. I am sure you guess which one isn’t a spinel! Yellow is next.028A3F4A-5CFA-4313-9143-5EE09B0BAB5F.jpeg

@AudreyC Wow... the spinels in that bangle run the gamut of color! It's delicious.

@Hivona Those are especially beautiful golden beryls!!

@Inbloom Welcome to the thread! What an interesting sapphire... I love that the Montana material has such unexpected bi-color hues.

I'll take the blue spot this round, my friends!

PURPLE be next! :cool2:

@Gloria27 Your red spinel is sensational!!
Thanks!
I'm not sure about that, it's got a lot of fluro that helps it in the sunlight otherwise it's dark red. It was a steal thou'.

PINK: Morganite withSapphire.
Among the first stones I've ever bought (2013 ) when I was just lurking around here. Gosh, gotta stop buying and start setting...

I think we've had a couple blues and greens so I'll go for purple and pink.

Purple tanzanite who's currently being set in a pendant by NNJGems (I miss it!):

And my weird little pink spinels. One is a milky opalescent that glows more orange in person, the other has an interesting orange ribbon inclusion running through it:

@AudreyC I love your multi gem bangle! Did you get it custom-made?

We skipped around a little this round, but holy guac did we have some winners!

@Daisys and Diamonds I love that you call that ring your "Baby Di!" It's so sweet!!

@Gloria27 I believe that is the first morganite posted to this thread! It's fab... thank you for sharing!!

@clumberlove Yes ma'am, and thank you!! I recently purchased it from Inken at Enhoerning Jewelry. She is setting it for me as we speak! And I just recently found out that "enhoerning" means "enchanting" in German. :geek2:

@AudreyC I don't think I've ever actually seen jade in that vibrant a green!! Wowzers... definitely worth the pain of getting piercings!

@Shiny Black Cat I love fluorite! It has a very unique glowy blue-green all its own. Gorgeous! And extra points for including your floofy friend in the shot.

@Kalynna Congrats on having your lovely tanzie set! I look forward to seeing the result. And that bottom spinel resembles a pad.

@lilmosun The thread's first sunstone, yay!! And what a beauty it is. Sooo RED.

@Acinom All I will say is:
