Ooooo interesting, @lilmosun! Is that the natural color? I never knew jade came in a red shade.
YELLOW is next!
Welcome to the party, @kris01vb! That ring is drool-worthy. Is it yellow sapphire?
I've been there and done that, @Gloria27, so I can certainly sympathize. I once broke a stone, and then spent $$$ trying to make myself feel better with replacements. But your newer, larger pear looks even nicer than the first!!
ORANGE is up again! Is it me or does it feel like orange is always up?
@icy_jade, thanks! I had the same feeling when I first saw them. They are from a family-owned store which offers pieces that have been certified by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory. Each earring is about 5.5 cm (a little over 2 inches)This is stunning! We need more details and modeling pics!
@Autumn in New England Yes, it glows. People who like neon spinels might like this kind of jadeite that responds beautifully to light. it is Type A - all natural, no treatment@AudreyC I don't think I've ever actually seen jade in that vibrant a green!! Wowzers... definitely worth the pain of getting piercings!
Fun thread @Autumn in New England .
I think blue is next so here’s my new tanzanite ring. It’s a concave cut from @PrecisionGem.
