OK I'm adding green. Vivid emeralds in matrix from the Panjshir Valley in Afghanistan. The first pic shows red UV fluorescence due to the chromium content:

It's a mineral similar to turquoise, but instead of copper the dominant element is aluminium. It's used in american indian jewellery a lot.
It's usually minty green and it comes in many greens with different types of matrix and webbing and rarely comes in purple (never seen one)
Mine changed from mint green to translucent grass green as it absorbed oils and wax from polishing after it was set.
My piece is most likely Lucin (Utah), based on the matrix. Variscite has been found in different places around the world USA, Germany, Spain or Australia.
I love it just as much as Turquoise.

That opal is amazing. The pattern of yellow to orange offset blocks is exceptional. I've never seen anything like it.

And @AudreyC, I had been waiting for the deets on your profile ring! It's incredible!! Which lab or labs certified your ruby? I'm thinking about having mine recertified, since it was done back in 2016 (GIA and Gubelin) before I bought it.
