deelight, actually, I cannot tell a lie. It does come from a bottle, now, but it's so close to my natural color that only close friends and family know I color it. And some of my SIL's were really surprised when I told them I did, they never realized since I started before the change was dramatic. (which is a good thing to know if you don't want everyone knowing you dye your hair, start early!)

My brother has piercing blue eyes and blackest black hair. Think Cillian Murphy. Somehow my parents'' genes mingled to give me yellow eyes. He gets blue eyes so gorgeous they are startling and I get yellow??? Why???

They''re kind of copper coloured I suppose? That would be the ''fancy'' way to describe it, to try and make it sound nice!

Um, the outside of the iris is a dark brown ring, then the main colour is yellow/copper, and there are green flecks all through. I''ve had people tell me I have eyes like a wolf!!!

Yes'm. I figure I got my hair, eye, and skin color from the solid 1/8th Irish in me (thanks dad!). Well, all that, and my love for the drinky poo.

Ellen I would love to know what colour you use I seriously have yet to find a really good natural red. The closet I have gotten my sister did for me and it started off quite a vibrant auburn and ended up fading to this yummy looking gingery strawberry blonde, I tried doing it myself one but I don't talk about that.

In all honesty I can't remember exactly what my natural colour looks like anymore I have been colouring my hair since I was 12 one of the perils for having a hairdresser as a sister.

Delster Yellow eyes are they like greeny yellow or a pure looking yellow? My sister has greeny yellow eyes and they are quite striking. I really wish my eyes were a cooler colour.

No, honestly, my guy friends have told me they are drawn to a beautiful face like Tacori says. I think Brunettes, Blondes and Redheads have their equal share of fun

Thanks guys! They're not as dramatic as they sound, and I actually don't get too many comments on them. Of course BF comments (he loooves them!

) and my family often comment (they get all nostalgic and call them 'N----' eyes, after a particular branch of the clan who all have variations on this colour) but otherwise people don't really mention it too much. Apart from the odd 'your eyes are maaaad, you look like a wolf' comment

So yeah, they're not stop the traffic dramatic. Unlike my brother's!

Anyway I found a photo on a photographer's blog. This girl's eyes are pretty close to what mine are like: yellow eyes! Actually her colouring in general is pretty close, except I'm quite a bit paler.

Isn't it mad how things like this turn out? My parents have brown eyes (Dad) and green eyes (Mum). I also have so many relatives with red hair even though neither of their parents have red hair. You never know how those genes are gonna 'cook'! I think it's fascinating, amazing, and fabulous
