UPDATE: Nan just called and Angello is not doing well. His oxygen levels are very low and his blood pressure keeps dropping rapidly. They are administering an epinephrine drip. Big prayers and good thoughts are needed. Thanks.

Nan, I hadn''t checked in here in a while - everything seemed to be going so smoothly at first.

I''m heartbroken for the struggle you are going through now, and for the rollercoaster that this has been for you and your family. It has been such a long two weeks for you.

Know that I''m praying my most fervently for you and your son for a major improvement and stabilization. I really, really believe this is just a rough patch in the road that you will overcome.

UPDATE: Nan just called and told me to tell you guys that Angello is holding his own for now. They did start up his feeds, very slowly to see if he can tolerate them. That''s it for now.

Well I just returned home after a long and scary day.
I don''t know what happened today. Unfortunately the doctors don''t know what happened either.

His BP just kept dropping without reason. They think he might have another infection brewing.
When I finally left he was doing well- he BP was very good and his oxygen level was good.
They are testing and retesting his blood for infection. They started a new antibiotic.

I hope he has a quiet night and no more scary stuff. The nurses have been wonderful.

Please know you, Angello and your family are on my "constant" list of prayers, as you have been since last year. I have full faith he will be just fine in spite of this dark time. Like I have always told you, your love is making the difference. Life is keeping me busy so I haven''t been here as much, but like all of the other members, good vibes for you & yours are *standard.*

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Nan and Angello is doing much better today!!!! He had an uneventful night, oxygen and bloop pressure levels are good. They lowered his dopamine (bp medicine) to 12 and it was at 20, which is the max. They have him on only one antibiotic now as he was on 3. His sugar levels sky rocketed yesterday and they had to give him insulin, and they are weaning him off that as well. His feeds are going well, no residuals. He now get 3cc's instead of 1. So hopefully today will go great for our little guy and he can start his journey to get home!!!!! I know he wants out of there bigtime.
