Oh Nan those aren''t sad eyes, they are just weary eyes. Oh and for those that were wondering her friend from Philly was me!!!! I was there the day after surgery. I can''t wait to see him tomorrow and give him my kisses. Can''t hug him right now, but believe me as soon as I can I will. I am also bringing with me all the many well wishes from our PS gang!!!!!!!!!!

oh hon! i''m over here in tears! the pics bring it in all so clearly! I''m so happy that things are looking up for your sweetie! Hospitals can be so difficult even for old-folks...not to disparage docs/nurses but i''m always sooo glad to see people get out. Peace and Blessings to you all Nan!

Oh Nan, seeing the little man with all those tubes and wires has me in tears. Although we are all here and listening to your and Lisa''s updates, seeing Angello''s pictures makes it so much more real. The poor guy. But like Lisa said, he''s not sad, he''s just wiped out, fed up and ready to go home--I don''t blame him!! My prayers are continuing for him and you and your family. Can''t wait to see pictures of him at home playing with his siblings. I think we can expect to see that really soon...

"Heroism consists of hanging on one minute longer." (old Norwegian saying)
Angello and his family are truly heroes.

More hopes and prayers going Angello's way.

P.S. - Kaleigh, their rear ends need to be kicked all the way to the unemployment line.

Nan thanks for posting the pictures. Now everything you and Angello are going through has hit home. My heart goes out to the little guy. But he''s a fighter. Hopefully Lisa will see to it that the care is more consistent. :-)

Awww, just look at that sweet little face. I just want to kiss him on those cute little cheeks! He definitely looks like he''s ready to get out of there.

Well it was great having Lisa (Kaleigh) visit today.
Angello was opening his eyes and pointing towards the door again.

They are trying to wean down his Blood Pressure Meds before taking him off the breathing machine.
Maybe in a day or two he''ll be ventilator free!

He looks much better from yesterday; less puffy. He''s getting rid of his fluids more effiiciently now.

Great news!

Sounds like things are going the right way.

What wonderful news Nan that your son is doing so well! Being weaned off the vent can be challenging but sounds like he sailed through that one.
