Oh, Nan, I know you feel emotionally yanked from one extreme to the other. We are all here pulling for the little guy and for you too. Prayers and good wishes continuing . . . . .

I talked to Nan a little while ago. Angello is hanging in there. He is on 2 BP meds and has been going through withdrawl from the Narcotics. Poor thing. But so far so good.

Nan just called and they got the machine working again that drains the fluid from his chest wound. He threw up again and his feeds are being halted for now. They want to get him off the ventilator tomorrow, we''ll see. She is leaving to go home soon.

You guys are awesome. I am not asking for those of you that aren''t religious to say a prayer. Just your good thoughts and well wishes are really helping. And if you believe in prayer that''s great too. It''s all good in my book. So thanks everyone!!!!!!!

I guess it''s time to say that I have been checking in regularly...and not posting. I am sorrier than I can say that Angello is suffering. The vomiting alone upsets a child! Like many others, both my thoughts and my prayers (although I am not religious, either) continue to be with Angello, Nan, and everyone else who is helping Angello. And, as always, thank you, Lisa, for keeping us informed.

I am praying for Angello and for the DRs to have the ability to help and for Nan to have the strength to watch her baby suffer. I cannot imagine how trying this must be.

I hope today is a good day for little Angello. My best to Nan and her family. I pray every day although I am not religious. I feel it can do no harm and there does seem to be some evidence that prayers do help.

Thanks to those who asked about my son. He is home from the hosptial but still tired and weak. It is also difficult to get off those horrible pain meds. It takes a while. But he is an adult and also a Biomedical Engineer. He made his needs known loud and clear and was not satisfied with B.S. answers. Also he could read his own chart and ask all the pertinent questions. He picked up several errors and discrepancies. It is so important to have an advocate like Lisa available to check in because sometimes you do not get all the information you need to make an informed decision.

It is so difficult with such a young child. Poor little Angello is suffering and probably does not understand why.

He looks like a little angel and I hope he gets well soon.
