Aaawww, LFV! Your ring is gorgeous! Don''t let the jealous ladies take away from your joy of it!!! It''s a beautiful and don''t you forget it! Sometimes people just don''t know when they''re being rude but pardon the old biddies. Normally, I don''t like to be mean, but I don''t like it when people just say things to hurt you because you have something better that they don''t have. So, dearest, be happy and enjoy our beautiful ring and engagement!!Date: 9/22/2009 7:14:11 PM

Thank you ladies!!! Okay... so I quickly have to vent a bit... This is my first diamond, and it''s a pretty sizable one, I know that. But it''s really interesting the reactions I''ve been getting at work. People asking if it''s fake... people saying '' Wooooow that is *quite* the ring'' (with attitude slathered on thick...) and so on... All women, of course... And women who have 10 or 15 years on me. So maybe they think I''m too young to be wearing it? It''s actually made me feel a tiny bit embarrassed!! I wish they would have the same reactions that you guys all did... PS is one place where my ring doesn''t feel totally out of place.

A woman I worked with at the time I got engaged said to me ''...Wow!, well if it doesn''t workout you can live on that thing..''. Note: She is 16 years old than I am. Some people lack tact and manners, plain and simple. I have an intricate setting as well (it is a 3-sided eternity pave) and I got that ''Isn''t that interesting'' comment quite a few times...The way I handled it was to just smile the biggest smile and say ''I know, I LOVE IT!''. Do not let anyone steal even a glimmer of your joy right now..you deserve it!
Be well!

For some reason my computer makes everything looks opposite of what it really is... Strange?! Another reason why I need our digital camera STAT!

I don''t know if someone else helped you yet or not, but I have a Mac as well. In Photobooth, on the top bar, click the ''edit'' tab, and at the bottom of the list should be ''Auto Flip New Pictures''. This will fix that awful mirroring problem!
Jealousy, plain and simple!!! My advice...ignore, ignore and then ignore some more! Do NOT be embarrassed by your ring, wear it proudly, don't let a few jealous biddies dampen your joy over your ring...the thing I like about your ring is that it is SO tasteful and elegant, and looks stunning on your hand, so just ignore those miserable "ladies" and have a blast wearing your ering!!Date: 9/22/2009 7:14:11 PM
