Thanks everyone- I love it. It is just big enough on my size 6 hand without being TOO big.

He had it made from a local jeweler. I basically gave him some pictures of different styles. I think this is closest to a Harry Winston picture I gave him.

I wasn''t too sure about the halo either (getting pretty trendy) but I really wanted an antique-y look. My FI really liked the halo, so we went with it.

I don''t have the report- I keep forgetting to get it from him! But the stats I know are:

GIA Certified
Cushion Brilliant
Carat Weight: 2.24 Carat
Color: I
Clarity: VS1

It is extremely sparkly for a cushion!

I have a cushion very similarly shaped to yours and was considering a halo if I do anything to improve or change it a bit. If you don''t mind me asking, what is the size of the center stone? Also, what size of finger do you have? I am seriously---and I mean SERIOUSLY---looking into that halo now, thanks to your gorgeous ring!

DEANNA- I think the center is 2.24. My ring size is 6 1/4 and I have pretty long fingers so a lot of what I consider big stones get lost on my hand. I was a bit unsure of the halo, because I was afraid it would distract from the stone. I have seen a few lately where the halo was "bigger" than the stone and didn''t follow the natural lines of the stone. I think the way mine was done is lovely, it is delicate and enhances the stone rather than overshadowing it. Please let me know if you have any questions!
